Since getting my new PC and removing the old one from the cabinet, I haven’t had much time to set everything up properly. Today, I noticed that animated GIFs for systems aren’t showing, and I’m not sure if this problem is specific to my setup. Here are some examples of the system logos I usually use. But within PinballX, those GIFs are shown as blanks. log.txt PinballX.ini

B2sserver should take care of it, to show the virtual dmd a d make a hole in the backglass file. Do you see the same behavior outside pinballx ? Or only with pinballx?
-
I have a real DMD, and not using ffull dmd, but I did some testing a couple of months ago to get my new pc running in desktop mode. I noticed that latest version of b2s will wait a couple of seconds when the virtual DMD starts. It will create a hole in the b2s with the same size and place of the virtual DMD. If this works outside pinballx, but not from pinballx, make sure that dmddevice.ini is set to top as well

[RESOLVED] Tables load in Visual pinball but not in PinballX
Mike_da_Spike replied to Deadbolt Don's topic in General
Did you try to set PinballX to fullscreen windowed, as Tom mentioned? According to the log, windowed is set to false. And only cactus canon? And that file is not set to use p-roc? -
[RESOLVED] Tables load in Visual pinball but not in PinballX
Mike_da_Spike replied to Deadbolt Don's topic in General
That is mostly a misconfiguration of your table parameter or an incorrect setting to monitor. Please attach your PinballX log.txt and config file. Try to reproduce the issue and upload that specific log file. -
And the main question is also: What changed in your cabinet when this behavior occurred? As VP995 has been out of development for many years, my assumption is that something must have happened in your cabinet that caused this. Windows updates? Updates to PinballX? Reinstallation of your OS (without having a proper backup)?

I was thinking of that as well, but maybe that looks odd as the program will be more portrait rotated I stead os landscape. So not sure. If it is easy, maybe you can create a test executable?

Thank you very much for making the adjustment to 5x4, I really appreciate the effort you put into this. It is working, but to be honest, it doesn’t look as nice anymore. Technically the 4x5 buttons looks correctly in perspective, but since the main use is mostly for 1–4 players (and that’s usually per row), it doesn’t feel correct with 5. Like in your example: in normal mode the 1–4 players are nicely on one row, but then in classic mode it starts again with 1 player, which continues on the next row with 3-5. Maybe a more flexible solution could be to make the number of rows and columns configurable as a parameter. That way the layout could be adapted depending on the program or screen ratio, and it would look correct for both the common 1–4 player setup and other modes. I think this would make the program even more versatile while keeping the clean look you designed. But already thanks for this change !

I’ve forwarded the discussion to one of the Zaccaria developers: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2545556227 The main point raised was about offline play. Many cabinet users don’t keep their machines permanently connected to the internet, and in those cases direct table launch can sometimes trigger multiple dialogs. This can be frustrating, especially for players in regions where internet access is limited, metered by KB, or still relies on older DSL/phone connections. Hopefully this feedback helps highlight the importance of a more reliable offline mode, so that cabinet owners and players with restricted connectivity can enjoy Zaccaria Pinball without interruptions. Fingers crossed the devs consider adding improvements for offline users in a future update!

Updated the XML in the first post. It has 180 tables now in the list with the extra commandline optoins, would it be possible to extend your Table launcher with more buttons ? i thought 12 is the max now Thanks @joyrider3774 for all your work on this.

Hello, where can I download previous versions of the plugin to try them? The latest version, 2.3, on my Pinball X, gets stuck in the favorites list after a while when playing MAME games. 😥🥴 Where can I download all the versions of the plugin to try them out? The latest version I have on my PinballX, in the favorites list, in carousel mode, freezes after running for a while, especially in some MAME games, and I have to force close PinballX 😥🥴. I'd like to try the older versions to see if any of them work correctly. ☺️ I don't think there are older versions available for download, but maybe Scutters has them (if not, I can check my backup files). Could you post the plugin and PinballX log files? The PinballX log file can be found in pinballx\logs, and the plugin creates files in PinballX\Plugins (PBXStatsDisplay_log.txt and PBXStatsDisplay1_log.txt). Also, please try to post your question in English (using Google Translate is perfectly fine).

Sorry buddy...

True, but to be honest, thats not a frontend issue. I told more people that they must complain at zaccaria. The software is expensive, and if you can't stay online, which was an option before, the vendor needs to fix it
-
I thought he found something to use zaccaria in an offline state via steam, as people where saying that since the new updates that didn't work anymore. And yes, zaccaria can be launched via pinballx with direct table launch. I recently updated the xml and a few post back, I linked to joyride his settings how you should setup direct table launch with Steam
-
I have no idea what you ask and what I can offer you
-
Could you please explain in English what actions you took? Some individuals have expressed a desire for Zaccaria to be available in offline mode. And I am curious as to why this would be preferred if the cabinet is already connected and capable of saving scores and other data.

De parameters kan je vinden in de volgende post : https://forums.gameex.com/forums/topic/26401-guide-zaccaria-finally-has-direct-table-launch/#findComment-203296 Plaatsts aub engelse teksten, want eigen taal is lastig voor iedereen

[RESOLVED] PinballX lose focus on ultra dmd tables
Mike_da_Spike replied to zbubar's topic in General
It should just be launched once. If you click on the icon in system tray, it should open the program with the log. As I mentioned, it should not be a solution, but a workaround. (And for most it works, it was created for VR users running another frontend) It must be something with your dmddevice.ini or visual pinball settings that causes this. Is the flexdmd supposed to be on the backglass or on the playfield ?. Can you maybe make a video what you get (try 2 differrent flexdmd tables) and show the alt tab ? Maybe someone sees the culprit of your issue -

Not a solution, but a workaround. Try to use the tool 'bring vpx to front' : https://forums.gameex.com/forums/topic/31545-resolved-after-exit-a-table-pinballx-does-not-close-vpx-reliable/page/2/#findComment-226148 -
Upgrade from v3.57 to latest and retain configuration
Mike_da_Spike replied to ukheliman0's topic in General
Technicly, I should say yes, but for safety you could backup your pinballx.ini and your database files. Your running 300+ releases behind, so not 100% sure. And make sure that you will check all the settings after the installation. This would probably set some new values as well- 1 reply
