Pinball Deluxe Reloaded table Jurassic Links will not launch
Mike_da_Spike replied to halen's topic in General
You execute PinballDeluxeReloaded.exe, if you run the steam.exe instead , like joyrider mentioned ? Maybe your steam isnt updated, and needs the latest file. Dont think this is a pinballx issues, but moreyour local install of the game -
[RESOLVED] PinballX update just hangs upon reboot after install
Mike_da_Spike replied to MAYAman's topic in General
I had one of those boards a couple of years ago as well. there was a trick to get it to work as well. Let me check my old notes EDIT: Not sure, but wasn't it, just to leave it on the screen for a while (couple of minutes) and it would be recognized again ? -

I know, I was just fooling a bit arround Dutch people are grumpy people (well, at least one Dutch guy on this forum). the first emoji's created by a Japanese guy. Japanese are very friendly people. So there is not common translation between those emojis between english and Dutch. (it doesn't any sense what I say, right )

OMG, I wasn't aware that you spoke Dutch as well --------------------------------------------------- OG, ik wist niet dat jij ook Nederlands sprak (ik weet niet hoe ik die stomme smileys vertaal)

@scutters and I just released version 2023.9.14.0 This is mostly an internal release, but we improved some speeds (again) as well The code is upgraded to .net framework 4.8 as framework 4.0 is out of support by Microsoft. This means that only operating systems with W7 Sp1 and higher can run this program. W7 SP1 extended support ended on jan 2020, so if you are still running an older OS, try to upgrade it. Our main goal is actually move to .net Core (6 or 7), but this needs much more adjustments. If you don't have .net framework 4.8, you can download it as well, on the download page of DBM it self if you encounter any issue, please let us know. We tried to test everything and do modifications where needed, but hey ! We are still humans too Big thanks again to @scutters for helping out this release

[RESOLVED] PinballX hangs on exit of table
Mike_da_Spike replied to Mike Iacaruso's topic in General
Extra info (something I didn't know) -minimized -play parameters, will also close the editor on exit a table. If you leave -minimized from the parameter, it will return to the editor (but PBX should close the exe). You dont have visual pinball running as admin ? -
Pimballx is the frontend for starting a pinball table. Sometimes we offer support for emulators, but if you really need help putting tables on your cabinet (I'm assuming you mean vpx), you'll need to go to sites like vpforums. There are also many (English) manuals there. If you want fx3 or fx, you can use the default xmls in game manager, or a tool that I made together with @scutters. This finds and adds tables to a system list automatically. The nice thing about the program is that you can put it in Dutch as well

Thanks for the files. I don't see anything wrong with the content of the files, but I have some questions/suggestions : You use a plugin "FutureDMD PinballX Stats" Version 1 By GauntletLover". I dont know this plugin, but it is a plugin for futuredmd But Future pimball is disabled,. Is this plugin still needed ? Another program I'm not familiar with ; 'DOFLinxMsg.exe'. Whats the purpose of this ? And if you disable the start command whats the outcome of that ? If you disabled both of the above and still not working, can you try the following: set AutoPositionPinMAME to false (in the ini or through the settings.exe) If those won't work at all, is an EM table closing fine ? -

[RESOLVED] No B2S Backglass in Pinball X for VP tables
Mike_da_Spike replied to techturder's topic in General
Don't run pinballx as admin Huh ? I thought it didn't load from pinballx ? Those properly won't use directb2s, Did you recently upgrade to visual pinball 10.8 ? Or 64 bit or upgrade directb2s ? Did you set the option in b2sserver to run in front ? Or is it set run in back ? I think a setting in b2s in not correct. To test , turn off the autoposition b2s and make changes to your b2s outside of pinballx- 3 replies

[RESOLVED] Some tables not showing high scores under information
Mike_da_Spike replied to keithhov's topic in General
Glad it worked. Don't forget to run Pinemhi monitor in the background as well and create free account. Score will be submitted and nice challenges (with great prices) are waiting for you. Here's an easy guide :(bit outdated, but still usable) -
[RESOLVED] Some tables not showing high scores under information
Mike_da_Spike replied to keithhov's topic in General
It has to do with tne pinemhi files in the pinballx folder. Did you recently upgrade to pinmame 3.6 ? It could be that the list with names are not correct in the pinemhi.ini See https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=44580&p=518662 -
[POLL]Which Windows operating system do you use on your cabinet?
Mike_da_Spike replied to Mike_da_Spike's topic in General
Thanks @joyrider3774, Goog feedback and I changed option 3 to multiple choice, but you cannot modify it anymore. -
We are interested in learning about the different Windows operating systems that people use on there pinball cabinet. We would appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to fill out this short survey. Maybe you can post the following additional information as well : Why did you choose this version of Windows? What do you like most about your current version of Windows? What keeps you from moving an older version to the most recent version

Strangely enough, there are multiple articles on the net, that describes that LAF videos are not played on the NVIDIA card and must switch to intel graphics. But for me it is just a the opposite. Anyway, it is working now when switching to the NVIDIA card. Solved ? IDK, I call it a workaround -

Then you don't have at the correct versions of freezy dmdext in your pinballx and vpinmame directory. Both must be at least 2.2.0. Others makes pinballx hung Another option is to use my plugin
