  1. not sure if peopel wants more, But I created also a template for desktop users : I uploaded now Zen's Pinball FX and Visual Pinball X, and this is how it shows in PinballX (images are in HD 1920x1080) Let me know if you need more undrlays EDIT : I also made a 'default' PinballX one and put it on FTP :
  2. I think Teensy and PinDMDvx uses same hardware (and can be used for addressable leds). It was for me also a hard time to figure this out a couple of years ago, but wasn't aware that it could also touch users without a real DMD. I will add it to my own FAQ for people that have the issue in the future. Thanks !
  3. @Tom Speirs can you check, As I'm using a real DMD, I'm not able to test this
  4. ok, sorry, just wanted to help to put the screens as most people of the community is doing. i'm not able to change the program @Tom Speirs, do you consider this as a bug and your are wanting to fix it ?
  5. Why not turnimg off vpinmame dmd alignment? You say it works when you set it manually. I thought it was jist a 1 time setup on vpinmame. Which version of vpinmame are you using ?
  6. Nice catch. Sounds a bit the same as the issue I had with the following from a couple of years ago Its good that we followed the complete trail of possible logs.
  7. Whats wrong with the height ? You defined in your config : width=1280 height=400 A normal dmd is 128x32 (so in your case 1280x320) is it stretch now, or do you miss pixels ?
  8. You say that your screen number 1 is your backglass and screen number 2 is pf ? Not sure if it still counts, but it was always the best practise to start the wi dows orders with pf. Are you avle to change the screens (just drag and drop the screen), so you have from left to right : pf (screen 2), bg (screen 1) and dmd (screen 3)
  9. Can you post a screenshot. (Or photo) of your windows display configuration ? I use loading videos and it shoes always on the correct display.
  10. Is it vpinmame dmd or freezy' dmdext you are using ? I have a real dmd, so imnot sure, but thought that pinballx will set vpinmame dmd and not freezy's virtual dmd
  11. Which .bat file you refer to ? When I read this, you need the ahk file and set your own setti gs in it. Compile it and use that exe.
  12. can you check your directoutput.log as well you launched a table from Pinballx ? good question, but hope we can find it for you !
  13. Thanks wimpie. All looks good. Although, i don't use auto poistion directb2s, but that should not cause the issue. Can you test something ? Enable mouse pointer within settings.exe (makes it easier to troubleshoot) Launch Flintstone again, when vpx is launch, click on the backglass with your right mouse button. A settings dialog will show. Check if "activat plugins" is checked and click on the plugin settings button. Your dof plugin should be showed and should be ok. I think something is fuzzy in these settings, vut unable to explain why this is working from command line and not from pbx. Don't forget to hide mouse again from settings.rexe
  14. Can you reproduce your issue and post your log.txt a d pinballx.ini, so we have an idea how your pinballx configuration is setup
  15. Idk, i dont have pinball hd. But I didn't see an attempt to launch Joyrider his launcher in your log file. You can try to launch the commands froma command line. As described in the PinballX documentation, pinballx will not magically fix any issue. It just launches stuff, and that needs tobe working outside pinballx. So, if you open a command line on your pc, type the executable, including the path (with double quotes around it) and the parameters with a table name from your xml (or from the list that joyrider provided) If this give the same result, you need to fix it. If this works, something not correctly within pinballx configuration
  16. Yes , i did. I dont see a launch table in the log file, did you try to launch a table from pinball HD ?
  17. I want to do everything manually, So I'm in charge of it. you never know what those developers did with the software
  18. can you post your pinballx.log after you launched a table ?
  19. Even easier. Use gamemanager or Databasemanager. Open the fx3 list (and hey, isn't 99 tables out of 100 not better as having nothing?), add a new table entry. For filename, add your missing name, and give it a description how you want to see it in PinballX. Add a wheel, playfield and backglass media to show as well in pinballx. And you are good to go ! If you have an orignal bought version, Databasemanager will even add your missing table automatically. Don't have an original version ? Install steam client, download fx3 and DBM will add the tables as well
  20. Well, i think your batch file is not the same as launching from pinballX. Visual pinball and direcrb2s are responsible for your dof output. Please posy your pinballx.ini and log.txt file to check your configuration.
  21. Solved ?
  22. A quick search on the website give this results Another option is to use DBM. DBM will check where your steam path exists, and from the steam path it will search for your FX3 system. Tables will be added and checked for obsolete from that path. really good feature (see https://forums.gameex.com/forums/topic/23840-app-pinballx-database-manager-230812-supports-touch-play-as-well/?do=findComment&comment=195100)
  23. Did you install steam on your harddrive and download pinballhd as well from your steam library? Also post your pinballx.log
