  1. I dont really see the need to do it, as I address bugs almost daily sometimes, and implement practically everything that is asked for. It realy should not be required. I can't stop anyone doing that, but please understand, I will only support the latest version. thanks, Tom.
  2. I dont personally keep archived downloads, but hey if theres something you don't like about the latest version just let me know, and Ill certainly try and address. That's pretty much how the project works, and most people (I think) are happy with that.
  3. They may not be in the config file, therre in the configuration app. Theres nothing to stop you adding them in gameex.ini yourself, Gameex actually supprots up to 300!
  4. I'm guessing its been a while since you upgraded. Its the theme your using, its quite old and needs to be updated to work with newer versions of GameEx. However there was a new setting in GameEx recently that makes it not load all the different backgrounds (which I think is what the theme is missing). Try turning it off. Its Called Advanced Graphics under display.
  5. There is no setting for that. MAME is supposed to be a more of a documentation project now apparantly, so I'll doubt they will implement it. Your kind of assuming a lot thinking theres already a setting. You could of course always recompile the MAME source code, but your'll need to look elsewhere about that. I will see though if its anything that can be done in GameEx. As Hobo says you could make the curesor a small dot. That's what I'd do if I was that bothered about it. Look at the shelling guide on the GameEx web site for more info.
  6. By the way, why not do a danish language conversion?
  7. 2 is done in 4.89. Go grab it.
  8. 4.89 is out now, go grab it. It should also fix the videos problem, but if not let me know.
  9. 24th August 2005 - GameEx 4.89 Fixed issue with wrong games selecting in 4.88 If your using 4.88 you should get this version. Fixed text getting truncated in configuration application Jukebox no longer lists 'auto' playlists from windows media player Setting to have either 2D or 3D Menu transitions. 2D by default
  10. Oh, I knew I forget something in the release notes. That was fixed. Wait until 4.89 though 4.88 is a buggy.
  11. Its a bug in 4.88. dont use 4.88 Ill get 4.89 out shortly.
  12. Have you got FFDSHOW turned off? Does the DVD Play in PowerDVD OK?
  13. If anyone distinctly dislikes the new transations over the old ones even over time, please post and ill add an option. Post here.
  14. 23rd August 2005 - GameEx 4.88 Fixed: Error running mame -help at startup New setting to not show the MAME Zinc/Playstation list Menu transitions slightly enhanced. If you don't like them let me know and ill make them an option. Tidied Random game a little. Added another 5 emulators to the config app.
  15. Sorry, I cant think of aything. ill have a look later to see if could be a bug, but its working as far as I know. Just double check everything. I think you must have something setup wrong.
  16. Theres no way to remove it currently. You need a DVD player installed such as WinDVD or PowerDVD. Note: Nvidia and ATI players dont work at the moment.
  17. It should be under MAME, unless youve disable it.
  18. You dont have to buy a specifically made PC, but the main hardware requirements are a DirectX9 Video Card (e.g Radeon 9600), and for TV use, one of the supported cards. The main requirement for TV is that it is either Digitial terrestrial or analog, or HDTV that has its own MPEG2 encoder such as Hauppauge 150,250,350. The Hauppauage cards now come with MCE drivers and for digital terretrial a Blackgold is a good card. Not 100% sure on sound and motherboard, but most modern boards and cards work, such as Nforce 2,3,4. EDIT: I dont mind the slightly off topic post, but look here for help if your considering it: The Green Button and XPMCE Great Windows Media Center resources and forums http://www.thegreenbutton.com http://xpmce.com
  19. Thats cvery strange. Right first, try disabling the Game pad, see if that makes a difference. Second run GameEx in a window to see if there are any dialogs or errors showing up. I know its crashing, so to get it to run in a window, go into the the GameEx.ini go down to [internal] and Set Windowed=True. let me know.
  20. Not sure exactly what could be wrong there. Have you definitly specificed the directory correctly, without and leading slash? Also, to say the hassle of creating snaps for a lot of systems check out: http://www.screenshotarchive.com
  21. I dont think there has been anything yet, but anything contributed will be great. I can always host it also if needbe.
  22. Thanks for the nice words, I think we've been very lucky too.
  23. The file looks correct to me. Did you update the list again? This is needed
  24. It does, its actually MAME that reshows the cursor.

    GameEx

I think its because your using MAME32ip.exe (What version is this anyway?) Try the command line version of mame or an official MAME32 build Tom
