  1. Ah, that fixed it. Thanks!
  2. Sure, here you go. And yeah, I've installed to Program Files. Never been a problem for me in the past. GameEx.ini
  3. Hi, I just jumped back into using GameEx recently and I'm having a bit of trouble setting things up. Firstly, my settings made in the Setup Wizard don't seem to be reflected in GameEx. Instead, it seems to be creating (and loading from) a "VirtualStore" folder in my AppData. Deleting it forces it to go back to the Program Files version but only until I make more changes. Second, whenever I launch a game, the screen goes black and doesn't even launch the emulator - moving my cursor around makes it sound like the GameEx UI is still there and selectable. My emulators work just fine outside of GameEx. I've attached my log file, if that helps. (Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit, Intel Core i5, nVidia GTX660) log.txt
  4. With regards to being able to disassemble the cabinet, that's something I would like to do. In either of the places I could put it, it needs to go up a flight of stairs and through a couple of doors. Plus transporting it to my house from college is going to be awkward. Luckily my tutor has some ideas of how I could disassemble it, but still, more ideas would help.
  5. I'm probably going to go with a set of about 19 Happ standard buttons, Happ P1 and P2 start buttons, and 2 Happ Competition joysticks. Still trying to find a trackball. If anyone knows where I could get a (relatively cheap) trackball, please let me know.
  6. This is kind of related. I'm building a cabinet for a college project, and I'm working out the button layout. I think so far I'll be having 1 joystick and 8 buttons per player (probably 6 on top and 2 on the side), and a start button and insert coin button each too. I'll also have a 'quit game' button and a track ball. GameEx would be controlled by the P1 buttons/joystick. Is there any other button I've forgotten?
  7. Yes, you can place a Sega CD game (any region) into the disc drive and boot it up in Kega Fusion. I have .isos working from the command line (they work like standard roms), but I'm adding a menu to boot CD games from the drive in my cabinet, so I need to run this from the command line. I may try and contact Steve (the creator of Kega) to see what he says.
  8. Does anyone here know how I could turn on the Sega CD from the cmd line (Kega Fusion)? From the CD drive, not from an iso. I tried using 'fusion.exe -fullscreen -auto -mcd' but that only got me the static screen.
  9. If you can't do the whole menu edit thing, could you at least add an option to make the contents of the multimedia menu show on the start screen? BTW, Great job on the recent updates, loads of cool stuff there.

    Menu ordering

I tried that, but then I think it looks too cluttered.

    Menu ordering

Is it possible to group emulators together, eg have a menu for Nintendo, a menu for Sega, etc.? And if not, is it something that could be implemented?
  12. Have you calibrated it for the emulators, or just GameEx?

    Why is gameex so slow

A simple 'I already checked there' would have sufficed.

    Avi's 4 Emulators

Put them in the snaps folder, or make a new folder for them and direct the emulator to them in the config.
  15. I might send you a tenner then. First I have to get money for a PSP (6 days to go...)
