  1. I just clicked on each one a bunch of times until I got to the green one and he lost his head! LOL!
  2. Awesome update! Thanks to both!
  3. PDF tends to be a resource hog (blame it on Adobe). All most comic books are is jpgs in an orderly naming series. If you zip them as cbz or cbr, then they can be read sequentially. @Null - I am loving ComicRack, BTW. It has been ages since I really enjoyed a good comic book. It's a bit ironic how we have become so complex in our hobbies to enjoy the simple things.that used to entertain us for hours.
  4. I am really impressed with ComicReader and have added it to my group of programs. Can't wait to relive The Amazing Spider-Man from the beginning... and Fantastic FOur, and X-Men, and Thor, and Iron Man, and... and....!
  5. Just a quick FYI - the eBook reader can read .cbr,. .cbz, and does a pretty decent job. As noted before in a few other threads, there is interest in being able to read two pages side-by-side which would be a nice enhancement
  6. I've got lots of bits, blade sharpening tool, flexible extender. Got bits for grinding, cutting, sanding, burnishing. If I use 1/10 of it in my remaining lifetime I will be amazed.
  7. Are there any errors occuring? I assume you are using the Attract Mode screensaver.
  8. Happy b-day!!!
  9. Awesome! Now all you need is a dremmel... Buahhhhahhahhahhahaha!
  10. Well, I would keep in mind that Advance MAME has not been under active support in quite a while. MAMEUIFX, while a derivative build of MAMEUI, maintains current support from its programmers.
  11. That is great news! I will mark this as resolved, however, let us know if we can be of help as you get things setup!
  12. My experience has been that if the program is programmed for Dolby 5.1 sound, even though you have 7.1, only 5.1 will work. If standard 2 speaker - no matter your system max, the program will only play sound for the max format it is programmed. Likewise, if you only have two speakers and the program uses Dolby 7.1, your PC is going to down-convert the sound to yoru two speaker setup.. I wish it would make 5 more speakers and a subwoofer magically appear, but alas... If the games have the ability to use those options, not entirely sure what to tell you if the settings are not saving as resolution for one may not work for th eother. I would check to see if there are any Read Only restrictions on the game's folders and contents.
  13. Pretty much launch the program - like some of the emus, you may have to configure the app outside of GameEx.
  14. +1's to what both Adultery and nullPointer said. Since going back to work I have much less time to spend in the forums trying to help others out, work on my own projects, be a hubby, be a daddy to my fur babies, etc. I'd like to use that time to catch up on what's goijng on and focus more on the new users having problems than the old salts. You are a more than capable user and, while not always right, you attempt to help which is more than what most of the rest that frequent here do (not saying anything bad about anyone, but there are those that are drive-by users that come in for a quick fix and you never see them again until something else happens). I am not always right either and it just is what it is! Because you are more capable, I have higher expectations for you. Take that as a compliment! I will admit to getting a little cagey when you post as Adultery said, almost as if to expect someone else to do it. This may not be the intent but it is how it comes across. I appreciate your contributions and your attempts to help others - right or wrong! So suck it up, Buttercup!
  15. Instead of loading as an emulator, try loading as an external application. That way the app maintains the control for the media and you don't have a DB loading thaty isn't necessary. You may have to tweak it a bit and, as Adultery said about getting stuck along the way, let us know and we will try to help if we can.
  16. While GameEx does not have that, you could load your program as a separate application via the Setup Wizard.
  17. I am thoroughly amazed! Great job! And all of this time you had us fooled into thinking you were just a duffer! Very well thought out, very colorful, great attention to organization of detail. I think you may have a contender on your hands for the theme competition!
  18. Not getting testy are we?
  19. Oh, humor us. Try it then become upset (or delighted if it does work). Generally, if they are png, jpg, gif, etc., you should not try loading it with the ebook reader as they are image files - totally different format. If you want to "read" them via ebook reader, then you need to convert the files to the intended format. I don't think I would ask if it was possible to use Winamp to read a pdf file. It is not intended for that. "This is my rifle. This is my gun. This is for fighting. This is for fun." Leon Uris "Battle Cry"
  20. This is so fitting in oh so many ways...
  21. Don't you mean "Poor girl, my butt."
  22. Trust me, we have plenty of other user issues to help fix. Better for you to troubleshoot the basics and if it gets beyond you, then post your issue, provide the necessary log and ini files, etc. I would rather spend my time going after the tougher stuff than things you already probably know how to troubleshoot/fix on your own.
  23. Fine, you are a member!
  24. Us geek types come by ADHD naturally, so some off-topic banter is likely to occur. All in fun of course. As for being called a MEMBER, that is the IP Board calling you that! You can, of course, change that in your profile settings to whatever you desire. Just keep it clean!
  25. If you haven't rebooted with all of that taking place (power issues) I would recommend rebooting. Sometimes the drivers do not initialize correctly when coming out of hibernate and, since you have had known power issues, I would bet that Windows has become unstable as a result. Whenever troubleshooting, the obvious often isn't. Always try a reboot first to reinitialize your drivers and Windows environment. Working from simple (reboot) to complex (clearing cache files, changing theme, etc.) will save you lots of time and headache.
