  1. Generate Loading Videos View File This is the latest release of my "Generate loading Videos" from playfield program. The idea started when PinballX introduced loading Videos and @scutters modified his "Loading Video & Image Changer (de-randomiser) " With Scutters his plugin and this program (and a lot of creativity of yourself), you can create your loading video's per table. Version 3 of this program, makes it much easier than the previous version I created. And more flexible. The settings interface can now easily add 'animations' (.gif, .apng or .mp4), you can choose the location where the animation should be added to playfield image And you can choose if you want to use an overlay (Some overlays already included) When set everything up, the program will create from your playfield video , a video with the animation on top (and if you choose an overlay, that will be placed above the playfield video and under the animation) Setup : Download the zip file , and extract all to the same folder Download the individual animations that you want to use as well Run CreateLoadingVideos.exe Select the PinballX system where you want to create the videos for Go to tab 'animations', and setup your Animations path. Put all your animations in that folder. Click on Add to add an entry, select your animation, select the overlay (or use the checkbox to not use an overlay) and set the location where you want the animation Exit the program if all is setup correctly Run CreateLoadingVideos.exe every time you add/modify your playfield videos The program will create missing loading videos and re-create loading videos if your playfield video is newer. It will randomly pick an animation that was setup. A big thanks to @scutters He created some animations, tested the program and helped with ideas on it if you create Videos of your playfield yourself (and with every update of the table), uses Scutters his de-randomizer plugin and this tools to generate the videos, it will look like a seamless start from front-end to the emulator itself. Some examples video's Submitter Mike_da_Spike Submitted 03/16/22 Category PinballX
  2. Thats the default how pinballx is working. The system/wheel is always showing what the current table/system is and what the prev 2 and next 2 are. If the wheel is in conflict with your video, you need to adjust your videos or use underlay/overlay to make your wheel more to the front and sepperate it from your video
  3. Didnt bought it yet.no time (and reviews shows it is too expensive) Normally I create flying videos in 4k with the nvidia driver and pbx.
  4. Oh dear ..... That will need an update .... i was sure It was there. Propperly in future release
  5. Didn't read the pinballx manual? Just in the system folder and call it '- system - .extension'
  6. I think you have enabled 'auto show dmd'. This is for vpinmame. Ifit doesnt detect a vpinmame it will fallback to image/video That why it takes some time.
  7. Check this , maybe it helps you
  8. PinballX can also send keys for start and stop recordings. Maybe that makes it a bit easier
  9. So you can setup W10 to record videos that are triggered by PinballX ? or you are able to use the videos within PBX ? (I use my Geforce driver to capture 4k content)
  10. PinballX uses indeed "wrongly" rotated videos. if you got videos created and showing incorrectly, just rotate them 180 degrees (via FFMpeg) or any other program
  11. Audio isn't recorded (yet) as Scutters mentioned. If you want table audio, you need to record it via another way and add it to the table audio folder. I think most people uses just the Videos or images and add there own sound
  12. Open visual pinball in editor mode and go to the screen settings. Check full screen exclusive mode as well. Not at the cab for a screenshot, but try that one as well
  13. @Tom Speirsis this something you can check ?
  14. Updated the code, so it will check if your have PinballX .net core (if not found, it checks the PinballX Vista/w7) Thanks to @MrGrynchto report the issue
  15. Thanks for checking . I will update this version on the upload page.
  16. By default, no. But when you run an emulator with highest (admin) privileges, you properly need pbx also start. For myself, I dont have pbx running as admin and all is working like a charm Post your log file and your settings file to check if you missed something When you revert to 5.37. Is all working for you fine again?
  17. send you a PM. Let me know if that is working
  18. That could be because Tom moved to a new version of pinballx, and this searches for the old one. Give me a day and I send you an updated version that will work
  19. Not really documentation about it. I tried to put all in the forum thread. I thought that all make sense.
  20. Not by default, as the dmd uses images or videos. I create a tool in the past that will create fr9m the wheel image, vendor image and year an mp4 for dmd's. Maybe that will help you It will only create 'missing' videos and will not overwrite existing videos
  21. When closing PinballX , your normall mouse pointer should be available. Probably pinballx doesn't close correct Can you provide your log and config file ?
  22. IF you create an MP4 of the image and put it into the "Tutorial Videos" directory in media, you can get an extra option when browsing the table or in the pause menu as well: tell us more !
  23. The comments value is used from the system xml database file. With the program Databasemanager you can easily add the values. Or you can use a program like notepad. If you add comments to your database file, you should not use gamemanager.exe to modify your tablles as it removes the extra values
  24. There are some options that you can use. For example, you can use the instruction directory for it and add your own information. Or use the tutorial directory. Check the manual starting fro. Page 5-54 to 5-57 for the special folders that you can use. Not sure if a micture of image and videos can be used. I never used it.
  25. Isnt the post that you included the solution for fixing it ? You can even use 1 table folder and set a flag in the xml file (like type' to switch the registry between those 2 versions.
