  1. Your English is perfect. I'm not native English as well and for me it is sometimes hard to help people, as I cannot say what I want in English. Anyway.. I don't understand 1 thing. So, your xbox controller is working fine in pbx and you can browse to fx3 and launch it, if you return to pbx, it isn't working anymore. Is this correct?
  2. Please post your logfile when the issue happen. I dont have a xbox controller, so cannot test it. But my cabinet has an usb controller that acts as a joystick and thats working fine
  3. Case closed !
  4. Do you have the same issue with AMH as woth AFM ? Or is the isdue different ?
  5. Why not sharring a modified flash.ocx ?
  6. Thanks Ian Do you also keep track in an database/excell sheet the latrst releases , with links ?(like Dux retro does?) Would be handy to have a full list of tables, version, backglass and download link
  7. If you want to build a new w10 system, I should upgrade to the latest version of PBX and ask the people here for help on any issue. So much new featutes, but also improvements on the program itself
  8. With system underlays, system playfield, backglass, dmd, topper videos/images you can customize it as you want. Example are on ftp and can be downloaded with Databasemanager as well
  9. Didn't look for a while at ultradmd, but I'm sure it uses freezy's dmddevice.dll as well. Are all dmdultra tables having issues, or also some specific tables ?
  10. Ultra dmd doesn't use vpinmame, and the common part is dmddevice.dll (I asume) Let's first focus on afm . Launch table, press f1 and vpinmame is ahowing. Uncheck the externall dll and check the virtuall dmd This will stop displaying it on your real dmd and shows a window somewhere on your screen with the dmd. If this shows fine, you need to try another version of freezy dmddevice.dll (1.8 or even 1.7.1)
  11. Hmmm... and if you uncheck to use the external dll and shows the virtual dmd ? If you still have it, your vpinmame is screwed, if not, you have an issue with freezy dll
  12. So, not a PinballX issue, but also outside. Try to use it without a vni file (so the plain rom file). Did I understand you used puppack as well ? Try to minimized all for testing. Just the rom, vpx and b2s file
  13. Last time you mentioned it was caused by your puppack. Do you have the latest firmware of your pindmdv3 ? Are those tables with a *.vni file for colour animation ? What version of freezy dmddevice.dll do you run ? I have a pindmdv3 as well. Dont have the issue that you have. I upgraded the firmware via https://github.com/freezy/dmd-extensions/issues/119 Using vpinmame 3.3 with freezy 1.8.1 Do you have the issue only launching from pbx, or also outside pbx ?
  14. The ini file is only showing a default setup of visual pinball (and only configured visual pinball9) Are you launching vpx tables ? Accordto the log, nothing is launched and that implicates that it cannot find the table files Please run in your pinballx the settings.exe and check if your emulator is setup correctly. You can cjeck verify in one of the latest steps If you setup all correctly and using Databasemanager, it will shows easily new tables, but also flags tables that cannot be found.
  15. Good thought Scutters ! Sound like you are sober again. Welcome back to earth I'm indeed using the 64 bit version of pbx, my assumption is that everybody was using it at this moment (except 1 person where it crashes during startup)
  16. @BrandonLaw I trsted this morning with different version of pbx, but even with4.80, the DMD keeps working on tbe majority of the em tables. A few tables showed a flickering rom display, some showing still my videos from real dmd folder (maybe it doesn't match table with rom), but most are just initializing and starting The log file doesn't show anything besides that the dmd is initialized. The only thing I noticed is that when the rom launch and displayed, I could not quit pbx by alt-f4 (i dosabled the exit to windows, so for 'maintenance ' I break out with that key combination).
  17. Thanks for the kind words Trevor. I think you won't be get disappointed with the life time membership. But you are also helping Tom with the costs of the site/servers/dns names On FTP there is a lot to find as well. But import stuff can be downloaded with gamemanager and/or Databasemanager (with your subscription credentials) I also try to upload wheels that are not yet on yhe ftp as well. And in the download section @scutters created some good tools/plugins as well (I use multiple plugins from him and some tools) Anyway, a lot to download and to check. Btw , Your specs looks good. Not sure what kind of monitor/tv you have, but hope it is a framerate synced withh at least 100hz and ips screen I build my cab myself and max playfield is 40". Thats a shame, because there aren't monitors and tv with good specs for that (yet?/anymore) Welcome and enjoy the club !
  18. These are the benefits of a subscription: https://www.gameex.com/registration/ Visual pimball is a free tool and does not include the subscription, because not part of Spesoft.
  19. If I have time, I will test it early morning. Never used it before, but will let you know
  20. Im using a pinDMDv3 as well with the modified firmware. But not using vpm in frontend, but just videos I created. Maybe @Tom Speirsknows of anything changed between the versions that could break your DMD
  21. Ah , make sense !
  22. Nice build ! Why didn't you added coin validators and add credits by adding coins ? I try to setup all tables with a rom for 1 credit to the left coin chute and 2 credits to the right. And yes, you are lucky when you get the cabinet ! Realy nice!
  23. Happy new year and the best wishes for 2021. Lets forget 2020 ! Thanks for all the great work to everybody that makes the GameEx forum and apps a succes
