  1. Yes, thats a default feature of PinballX I just press the "exit" button, that will not bring me back to the fx3 menu, but just to my front ent Nais ! Multiple ways leads to Rome ! As Draco said, can you shate your solution?
  2. Yes. The purpose of a front end is to skipp the loading menus in the actual emulator. That how I use fx3 as well. For every table selection, I use pbx to select. If I switch from table, I press the exit button that is defoned on pinballx. This kills the fx3 process, and lsunches for me a batch fill, that cleans up some stuff (checks for example if doflinx is still runnimg, closes dmdext is still exist etc) So, not sure why you want a key mapped for hotkey, as a batch file can be run when you ecit a table (As I said, I'm Dutch. I'm pretty slow to understand, but willing to help )
  3. Thanks for the videos. To be honest. I don't know. There must be a simple thing that we missed. Could be, as scutters saod, a admon mode ossie. Try rin pbx as admin, or set pinup player as admin. Strange part is why the 2 pinup programs get in an unresponsive state. If above is not eorking, try the settings with full screen exclusive mode in settings.exe of pinballx.
  4. Maybe a stupid question (and thats because I'm Dutch), but why you want to bind a key to kill fx3 and vlc player? Why not using the exit key from pbx that will end the emulator (so fx3 in your case) and usinf a "launch after" batch file to kill vlc ?
  5. Your log file shows fine. And your settings looks on first sight fine as well. Can you maybe post a video with your issue when launching a table from pbx with the issue and a video that launches the same table outside pbx ? Maybe that shows a bit more information
  6. What are defined in your start.bat and exit.bat ?
  7. What do you exactly want to accomplish? You want filtering on a large list for a few manufacturers, or yu have databases per manufacturer and want to show it as 1 list ? (Sorry, I'm Dutch. )
  8. @dielated What @scutters means is : Set your ratings in the display field (note, these are unicode symbols, not regular stars): and in advanced search create a filter and filter on the difficulty, like : In PBX you have a filter: That will filter all the medium rated (so, create an easy filter and hard as well) (sorry, just on my test system, but think you get the point)
  9. You didnt set vp to it, but FP. Fp uses the paramaters you had
  10. You should not change anything to this. Paths can be changed what you did in workibg path and table path. (Can someone move this to the correct thread ?)
  11. In databasemanager, we try to create the filters as : what you see is what you get. With other words: in advanced search, you make a search, if that is saved as a filter, Databasemanager should show only the tables that you will see in PBX
  12. Can you make a copy of your database directory and post it here ? So we can simulated your problem ? Also add your pinballx.ini
  13. Version 21.1.31 released This version contains some bug fixes, a new feature to delete multiple tables at once (thanks to @Blamer for the request), updated IPDB list, 3 new Unicode characters. These can be used for example to set difficulties on a table, and with the filter option, you can create filters for it and use it in PBX. Thanks to @scutterswho did a hell of a job for this release again (thanks buddy !) Just check th eversion out
  14. Slow ? It is a free product, and I really appreciate all your efforr you do for this community. Any issue you address and fix mate. We all have our moments with motivation issues, but that make us human ! Keep up the good work Tom !
  15. Nice one Tom. Thanks !
  16. Nice one. Didn't hear of it yet. Looking forward to what they bring.
  17. Cpuld the menu list be extended with entries that cpntsins "send keys" entries? My cabinet is running out of physicall buttons and some background programs (like pinemhi leaderboard) wants key pressing to start challanges or show info. If I can map a keyboard key and give a name to it that shows in the menu, that would be very helpfull
  18. Not an option right now, but you can request it as a feature request The only issue for me is, that I dont have any free buttons left on the cabinet to mount it to.
  19. Thanks @joyrider3774! You've been busy. I wanted to check as well if there was a command line tool, but you beated me! Not sure if SpeSoft convert-it, can also do bulk converts. A lot to do the next days ! @Tom SpeirsAre you converting ftp files as well, or you will only clean them ?
  20. Next release will have also a multi delete option in it. Can be used with (advanced) filter and you can delete multiple tables at the time Something like this : @scuttersalready made some adjustments for a new release, but we are awaiting for @Tom Speirs if he releases a new version of PBX that makes SWF files obsolete (and we need to adjust that as a well in our tool)
  21. To be honest, I'm struggling with the same. I want to split EM and SS tables. I have 900+ vpx tables. The xml can be imported easily to excell. From there yiy can do a filter and have all the tables that needs to be deleted. If you have that list, you can add a "del " in front of it and run it in that directory. Maybe a 5 minute thing, but it helps you
  22. What other way do you mean ? Deleted tables are marked as obsolete. This is easy to filter and delete with 1 click. We dont have a way to "bulk" delete. This was done on purpose, so you cannot make by mistake a delete and remove all (also media etc)
  23. I'm not sure if there will be an update for .swf files in PBX. I think we should convert all .swf into a format that PBX supports. Not really know what @Tom Speirsfuture idea is of .swf support in pbx
  24. Did you have msi afterburner running with your old gpu as well ? What if you disable this during table lsunch?
  25. Credits for @scutters! As I didnt think of it
