  1. I spend some time today with TPA, but it is working like a charm. See below video. This is my setup within PinballX : (note, that I installed steam in my C:\Pinball folder. I have a full backup on c:\pinball, so want to have all for pinball in that directory) I use a start and exit script as well : Start Script : @Echo off C:\Pinball\Tools\DisplayTools\DC2\dc2.exe -configure=C:\Pinball\Tools\DisplayTools\DC2\profiles\4kDisplay_Arcooda.xml start /min C:\Pinball\Tools\DMDext\dmdext.exe mirror --source=pinballarcade --no-virtual -d pindmdv3 --quit-when-done pushd C:\Pinball\Tools\Joystick.Gremlin.R13.3 start C:\Pinball\Tools\Joystick.Gremlin.R13.3\joystick_gremlin.exe --profile C:\Pinball\Tools\Joystick.Gremlin.R13.3\Profiles\GremlinProfile.xml --enable --start-minimized Dc2.exe is to set my screen correct DMDext.exe is to use freezy's magic to grab the DMD from memory and display it on my real DMD Joystick_gremlin.exe I use remap my Pinscape controller to Vjoy as vjoy is most of the time the 1st joystick controller in a game and then my buttons won't work Exit Script : @echo off C:\Pinball\Tools\DisplayTools\DC2\dc2.exe -configure=C:\Pinball\Tools\DisplayTools\DC2\Profiles\4kdisplay_landscape_60p.xml taskkill /im dmdext.exe /f taskkill /im joystick_gremlin.exe /f taskkill /im cmd.exe /f DC2.exe to set the screen correct again And Task kill to kill all apps that should be closed And heres a video of my cab :
  2. Your English is much better as my French, so don't apologize for it. I'm Dutch , so most people understand my Denglish as well. I didn't use TPA for a long time, and I used freecammod as table launcher. But think you need to set the process to monitor to the exe of tpa itself and not to your loader Process=PinballArcadeCabinet.exe (Or in your case pinballarcade11.exe) Can you give it a try ? To be honest, i would not put time/money and effort to get tpa to run, as VPX has all the tables as well (except 1) and the graphics, physics, ssf sounds, dof and backglass are way better than TPA. But just my opinion
  3. Instructions are already on bg. Think flyers are showed on playfield, as most flyers are in portrait mode and bg is in mostly placed in a landscape position. That would show the flyers smaller compaired to the playfield.
  4. Please post any question or issues to the general thread. I'm not aware of any limitation How many tables do you have added ? I'm not using game manager, but knows it can handle my tables
  5. There is also a program called "pupcloser.exe". This is created by nailbuster itself. You can run this tool on table exit as well. I only have a few pup tables, but all works fine with pbx and vp 10.7, without running any programs after the table exit
  6. This popup is generated by steam and not by pinballX. When I started a couple of years with fx3, i thought I had the same. Not 100% sure, but thought it was a regkey to disable it, but that kept reset 3verytime, so needed to set deny to write for system. But I realized that my can needs tobe online. PinemHi for example is a good example to have it online, but also PinballX, Databasemanager and other tools to update your cabinet with new tables and media.
  7. You can get rid of this message, by turning on sync in steam. Or is that too easy ? As my steam is connected, I keep my games synchronized between my different systems. Myabe ask steam or zen pinball how to avoid this popup
  8. On my cabinet game manager is working again. @halencan you confirm it as well,so I can mark the bug as resolved?
  9. Can filters (INI files) be showed to the system wheels as well (maybe with a switch per ini file) ? To add media for it, the media for the ini file in the specific system folder has the same naming convention as a normal table, except that it has a prefix with "filter_". So the media should looks like "filter_<INI FILE NAME>.<ext>". These media files are in the same folder as the other media files For default filters like 'Favorites', 'Recently Added' etc a sub folder in the '/Media' directory can be created with the same naming structure as a normal system and these can contain videos/images for the default filters that are already in the 'Lists' menu. Why I request this? My 'Lists' is too long to display all my created filters, and some of my grandkids can't read yet, but understand icons. I also want to separate my VPX tables from EM and SS. Best way to do this is via a filter file, instead of moving all over to sperate folders and create a separate system. This is better manageable to just have all my tables in 1 folder I hope this is do-able and that you want to spend time on it You will make me and my family very happy with this
  10. You do not add it to DBM, but you need to add it as system to PinballX (via settings.exe) I wanted to make a manual for it how to set it up, but because of the ticketing part, I gave up. Only during setup and launching of a table it costs me ticket to test if launch of table worked. Did you read the PinballX documentation? I think you missed the part of enabling system lists. I know that people don't want to read manual but think it will help you a lot to setup PinballX . Btw. I see in your settings file, that your left flipper joystick button is also mapped to 'launch a game'. The joystick and key mappings are also described in the manual (page 4-23)
  11. Must be your dmddevice.ini that fixed it. Good to hear. Don't forget to always post your log.txt and pinballx.ini to an issue post.
  12. For loading a table, you can have loading images (this will generate an image from your video), or loading videos. Check settings.exe With @scuttersde-randomizer plugin, it will show the correct video/image during load. This will give you a seamless start of a table. Check all scutters his programs, by clicking on his link inhis footer, or check the user manual OF database manager for a list as well. During exit, you will still have a black flash for a couple of seconds Check for example this video on the end and you the that the 24 table starts seamless (because of teamviewer itvtakes a while to load the table, but still seamless)
  13. What was changed to your cabinet lately? As you have multiple issues, something needs to be changed. My first guess would be : check your joystick in windows. When pressing it, is it flashing twice ? Or is another joybutton be pressed constantly? I have the issue when one of my coin switch not working fine that I have simular issues. Not sure if there are any programs that will log joystick presses. Now I realized, also had the issue when i had my streamdeck connected to an externall usb device. That gave me double presses as well. My advice : check your joystick and usb devices. If you added new hardware , unplug and retest
  14. Custom list and filters are i deed to create smaller lists, but cannot be selectedfrom your system wheel, but from the menu list (see documentation) Disadvantage of this, is that you are limited to have a list that can fit on your screen. I wanted to create a new feature request today, as I wanted something similar like this and have an idea how Tom can properly create this. Anyway, back to your question. I have 1000+ vpx tables, also the steam version of fx3, zaccaria, the pinball arcade, pinball arcooda and pinball wicked (i think i miss 1 or 2 others as well) All are seperated systems and can be choosen via the system wheel. And good part of PBX is that you can scroll to the next or previous alphabet letter with the magna buttons. So searching makes it easy if you know the exact table name. This is based on the description field in game list manager and Databasemanager. You can off course categorize everything, but from my own experience, you will update your pinballx database oftern, due to updates and/or new releases. If you categorize everything, it will be a hell of a job to keep all up to date and get them in the correct category Systems like fx3, zaccaria etc has less updates, but if they add new tables, you need to add them as well. This doesn't answer your question, but hope it will make sense how to setup your software
  15. Not sure what you want to accomplish. Visual pinball is the system you selected in settings.exe from pinballx. Visual pinball will load your vpx tables. VPX = visual pimball 10 (x=10) System lists are a subset of a main system. When you create a system list for a system, you can select them in the main program by selecting it from "select databases". Make sure that "hide custom databases" is unchecked. If you have selected the system list database file, you can add the tables to it, in the same way you add it for a normal system I hope this make sense (and if so, i will update the documentation a bit to make it more clear" Just a question from My side. Why do you want to use a system lists ?
  16. This is the new .net core versuon, if it works, just use that. I'm using a real DMD, so not able to test, but as you mentioned that your dmd video is played over the pinmame version, i think you have set pinmame to not put on top (if that is possible, just checked and yes, see below). As you have the "do not hide DMD" set, pinballx will show your dmd video during gameplay. If the pinmame won't take presence of ot, you need to check if pinmame can be on top, otherwise for this table uncheck the hide dmd option. EDIT : this setting in DMDdevice.ini , stayontop, is that set to true ? ; a DMD that renders with nice dots on a computer monitor [virtualdmd] enabled = true ; virtual dmd stays on top of all other windows stayontop = True and do you use Freezy's DMDdevice.dll or the modified version of Lucky1 ? Maybe that makes a difference as well
  17. Well, limited to only tasks like " shutdown computer", "exit table", "play random table", but commands like "play table X for system Y" or "random table for system X" are not possible anymore (if I understand it correctly)
  18. Think you can only create easy trigger without any parameters anymore :
  19. Well I only got the shutdown computer working now And needed to re-create the trigger as the old triggers won't work After that I needed to add IFTTT to my home app Than I could shutdown the PC via google home, but wasn't able to give a parameter to the voicecommand yet
  20. @Tom Speirs Did you cause an issue when adding the fulldmd support to gamemanager ? I also have it with 5.52 : But DBM shows media fine (for example table 2001, It has all media and Wheel): @halen, You can use DBM in the meantime and have all the benefits from the latest version of PBX When Tom fix the issue, you can always revert back to game manager
  21. Did you set the rotation correct within settings.exe ? 270 degrees instead of 90 degrees?
  22. What do you mean exactly. You installed pinballx 5.52 on a new system and copied over all the media. And pimballx wont play it, or within game manager it shows that you don't have the media ? Maybe screenshots, pinballx.ini and log.txt will help
  23. I will check it in the weekend as well. I only used it to show visitors that it could be used via voice
