its the ini file. i am aware of it. jpg should be no problem. because you are attaching it at the same time?

Not sure I got a simple solution to that, although I get you. We are all getting older, no offence. I wonder how other products handle it?

no its not but windows clients have had an issue downloading ini files so i guess its related. everything gets stricter in an attempt to make things more secure. its quite an effort managing servers these days.

Yes, you should be good. i don't know what was causing the logging exception exactly, but it was related to the backend server and urls used and i fixed all that.

Actually, you motivated me. i just did a little work and fixed it. It did not take much. A new version is uploading now.

i just downloaded it as a fresh install. Looks like it is definitely something on the server. It is not even downloading the MAME logo. It could have an old hardcoded URL. Again, I am not planning on working on it so I am going to remove the download. It still looks very pretty though.

Thanks for troubleshooting. It might be getting a bad response from my server. It could be something has changed online. I did setup a new server a couple of months a go. I could have missed something. Although still a little pointless using GameEx Evolution as it is not getting updates. I should probably remove the download. if i get more posts like this I will. You did not say if you were already using the product and it suddenly broke or if it is a new install?

I respect your commitment but I doubt it can be fixed without a code update from me. Sorry.

My code signing certificate was renewed for three years and GameEx and PinballX have been updated with the new security.
