  1. Hey Mike, can you please provide those gifs to save me a lot of time (zip them)? I think I know where I screwed up.
  2. Sorry, as I expected I can't duplicate this which is why we always ask for the support files. Information is king. I don't think it is affecting many so up to you if you want to help further or not. Cheers. Tom. ps: The fonts are supposed to be an improvement but could be that. Hard for me to know without further information. It is what it is. The main issue with this for me is there is too big a leap in versions you are using. It could be 1 of a hundred things. i know you are a long time user so won't bust your balls on it!
  3. Thank you fellas. I see it.
  4. ill test it see if i can duplicate it. So you know, it causes us all a problem if people don't post "proper" topics.
  5. I think I can see the issue (other than the batch file). Please replace the attached and post the log. GameEx.zip
  6. I feel your pain. I can only use an arcade cabinet for about 20 minutes before my back gets uncomfortable! PS: Try AnyDesk.
  7. if you are getting a black screen, try setting full screen windowed setting in PinballX (not vpx).
  8. Good. Would be curious to know what you have going on with it.
  9. By the way, it will stay play the snap or video if there is one and automatically plays the video without sound if there is an MP3. It also plays nice with the jukebox if your using that. Only thing it doesn't do is loop the MP3.
  10. Game music for emulators now plays while browsing the lists. OGG and MP3 supported. View the full article

  12. Sounds like a separate issue. Is this just on 19.54? Does it work outside of GameEx?
  13. no problem. i hope you did not have to set it all up again. it helped me identify a little theme issue which i will fix.
  14. i will try and take a look and test it here. No differences in the emulators I am aware of. I put them on the site for some upcoming enhancements I am working on. Only difference is they wont be so current.
  15. This is a little concerning. The log does not show a crash. What is happening on the screen?
  16. Your not missing anything, go back to regular GameEx.
  17. your not wrong. its just not for me personally. All the frontends are all emulation station clones as far I know and i know what it is. i have no issue with it but id die of old age before i could develop a decent front end!
  18. yeah they run fine. it depends what experience you are after. Thanks for the chat.
  19. Well both Windows AND Linux run on mini pc's that cost less and are more powerful than a Pi 5. People just don't care or don't know. As for the arcade hardware, you either want it or you don't but it is the same whatever you do.
  20. I said Windows is not worth it on a pi. As for Linux Pi its not a stance. its a limitation. Meaning it is not possible for me to do. I would love if it would run on a Pi.
  21. The Linux version is only for x86 CPU's. Pi is ARM based. It wont be running on a Linux PI anytime soon. Sorry. Windows ARM might be available soon but not worth it on a Pi. Just stick with what you have.
  22. They do require updates to support them. They often get broken and some stores are not even doable. What are the three biggest games stores currently? How are the new ones i added working out?
  23. Thank you for the request. it does look doable and easy to do. i will try and get to it. I just see that this topic is over twenty years old (May 2005). I am sure I implemented many of them,
  24. Okay thanks. I thought it was recent. I won't have a problem then.
  25. Thanks buddy. Am I imagining things with the change and an 8 pin PSU ATX connector now as opposed to four pin for the CPU?
