  1. Other than that GameEx does filter out a lot of the crap by default. By default you can expect a list of about 3,600 games from a full set, Settings can be adjusted.
  2. Sounds like its an input related issue but I can't think of anything right now or anything that would be different between those versions. Is your cab keyboard encoder based or gamepad? i would generally check usb/devices on the cab.
  3. Your log says your running as administrator, is it supposed to be? That is not normal in 2025. Did you right click and run as administrator or did you completely disable UAC on the machine?
  4. the contents of the folder into the contents of the folder. Sorry, i thought youd already done that. lets tackle one thing at a time please as doing that will pretty much start you over. in fact, dont do that now. it will really complicate things, There is a setting to rotate. You must have invertedly turned it on.
  5. oh sorry. you need to create a shortcut first then drag the shortcut. Pressing backspace will normally disable that. if not just let it update once. Is it stuck in a loop? Is there an issue in doing that? it does that when it detects a new MAME version. it looks like that is the case looking at your first log. The setting you are referring to hides the option from the menu.
  6. Are you referring to where it scans emulators and databases at startup or are you stuck in a mame update list loop? Can you post another log please? As for startup, what i normally do is drag the shortcut in the start menu to "startup". Does that work for you?
  7. The issue is you have no accelerated video on your system. Looks like your missing a driver. Adapter: Microsoft Basic Render Driver Its not a GameEx issue, it looks like you didn't finish your new setup properly.

  11. Yes, that is Arcade Edition. Just copy the whole folder over then follow the instructions above. C:\GameEx Arcade Edititon > to C:\GameEx Then ini copied as above and note the new exe and shortcut. They used to be two separate installs but now they are combined into one. It should only take you a minute then you will be all set for the future

  16. Can you get me the table please so I can test it?
  17. Okay, i thought of something. Here is something that will fix it for everyone assuming the player window closes. It will read this setting in 6.87 and beyond. [VisualPinball] WaitForEditorClose= It defaults to 400 so set it above that. Its milliseconds. Note: Don't set it above 9500 or so otherwise it will time out and kill the process.
  18. Okay I am releasing 6.86. This should hopefully address most popper issues and not break things for everyone else. Cheers.
  19. I am not entirely sure its me but please try 6.86 available in a minute. If it does not work could you please rule out it is not broken in a previous version. Thank you. Your log looks fine but there is not a lot of logging for closing and killing the process for those systems.
  20. thats interesting, here is one for testing. Thank you. PinballX.zip
  21. i think i am out of other ideas for now unfortunately. We made some good progress though.
  22. It was just very minor updates. i have been trying to get this resolved. if its a significant update it will be posted under news as it always is.
  23. Nearly there, please try 6.85. Note: i think the startup issues are because it is not exiting the previous launch cleanly. i have only been working on the exit code.
  24. if it is still no good, please get me all the files and I will try and test myself here. Thanks, Tom.
