Are you sure its gameex 3.2? That's about 15 years old? I would ask for support files as is normally the case but would be futile with 3.2.

You have to be careful where you install or put instant sheller. If you ran it off a usb, this would probably be expected behaviour Sorry. This is why I now provide an installer.

Hey, Im aware of the issue where PinballX runs on the CPU graphics until you tell it not too but no idea why videos dont play. Not seen that. I am all on windows 10 now though until the whippings begin!

Are you using extdmd for vpx? Which version? It could be something has changed there I have not adapted for. Is the issue with pinamme tables or otherwise?

Im sorry your unhappy. The problem is these issues are just affecting you not the entire user base. So its hard to find a fix. ill have access to a cab in 10 days but I cant test before then.

I have not tested recently but GameEx checks for the overlay to see if a Steam game is running. Is that good?

Sorry, I dont have access to more than one screen for a couple of weeks. Although, im not aware of any issues and perhaps it is related to your other issue. Try and get the playfield on screen one if you can. Or you can disable the auto position if its not working for you,

There tends to be issues when the playfield is not screen 1. its always been that way. Sorry.

It was the best and revolutionary but didnt get the support. Some thought I had bad intentions but mostly I think people like to shoot the shit as well as just get the job done. Freezy is the most talented technical person I have ever had the pleasure of working with or knowing, I am a third rate hacker in comparison to him.

Its not officially permanently closed until or if Freezy says so at some point. The server is still there with all the content. It is not because of lack of funds or hosting but lack of time to fix some database issues the site was having causing it to be broken. Freezy left the offline page with just a link to vpuniverse and none of the other sites (probably not intentionally) as well so I just shut it down until or if he has time. So to be ethically correct:- vpforums and vpuniverse are the two go to ones for tables. Only two legit ones left as far as I know. Both as good AND bad as each other. Don't be fooled. That's my take but I've been around longer than them both.

The above is correct. My reasoning was for higher performance and to lower resources on the system. I can do 4k 60fps ]captures in hvec with no issues here. If you have and NVIDIA system it will fully utilize the hardware on that. AMD support in FFMPEG is still limited as far as I know though. Im not sure how PBXRecorder handles that stuff.

Looking at your log, it looks to me that MAME is not closing when you are going to back to GameEx. What version of MAME is it etc? As for the .net errors in windows. That all looks completely foreign to me. i have no idea why it would do that. Generally most exceptions are caught within GameEx.

Its not normal. Its obviously some cache getting in the way. Current version is taken from right here on the download. It is 5.97 and I tested the download and it is 5.97. Its almost certainly a caching issue. its not doing it for me but ill take a look,

Yeah, all I had to say too, your in windowed mode. Its really nothing more that a testing mode for development (for me).

There is a display setting option to hide the mouse in 5.97. Just released. Im thinking its mostly a crock of shit there is not an underyling issue for the topic or they are using an old version but i see a use case and its done.
