  1. Finally……… Empire and Tempest have followed. Black Widow is also out there, but may have been for all I know.
  2. A good alternative with the added benefit of using HDMI if you still have an OG Xbox but missed the opportunity to pick up some of the previously available high def options. https://electron-shepherd.com/products/electronxout

  3. Funny, we were reminiscing about the Commodore today at work. I had no idea this was a thing, looks cool though. I don't have the time currently to watch the video, but I take it that runs on any X86 platform since it's shown with an Atari VCS sitting next to it.
  4. Preview article
  5. I wore this game out on the SNES, hopefully this installment continues the legacy!
  6. Somewhat pricey, but very cool IMO.
  7. Cool test case😁
  8. I don't think the urge ever goes completely away, I can pickup one and it's almost like I never quit.....but it's rare and overall I don't miss it at all.
  9. GameStop is on the ropes, GameSpot’s stocks soars after Robin Hood short that ends up screwing over small investors……and now…..GameSpot is looking to acquire eBay. GameStop has surely been on a roller coaster of events as of late!
  10. Yep, that was a fantastic deal you found there. Some I’ve seen are okay, but still $799. Seems somewhat of a dip in prices is occurring right now, but I don’t expect it will last.
  11. Fitting release date (for me anyway)

  13. No, the entire build was an old 2600K build I did way back for a DAW for a good friend of mine (who I worked for over 15+ years) who gave me the entire setup about 6-7 or so years ago after getting out of studio recording, so I slapped a newer more efficient processor in it then with the goal of backing up a NAS, which Tom gifted me some years ago (Thank you Tom). I ran a spanned Windows 10 drive in it for a while until one of the drives failed recently and I'm looking for a more permanent solution since the NAS is growing on in years and Windows 10......well, you know! The JONSBO case has a few questionable design issues, but overall it's more "NAS" like in design to make it a decent long term choice over anything I have on hand from past builds.
  14. What card did you end up going with? I'm going to repurpose an old i7-3770S due to lower power consumption and use a LSI 9207-8i in it and install open media vault. I will probably end up getting a JONSBO N5 to have room for future expansion.
  15. I used to think that way too, before I switched to this from Artic Silver-5. Interestingly enough, I got slightly better performance from the six pipe heatsink vs the newer seven pipe version, although not enough to really matter.
