When the machine is booting up keep pressing the u key on the keyboard. Assuming you left most of the default options in instant sheller that will allow you to undo and reboot.

Its fixed in 6.04. it was an error in the installer. You will have to manually remove flash.ocx from the PinballX install folder. That takes a little work,

Not getting the error here. Fresh install of PinballX but not Windows. I'm betting its a missing VC runtime that I already have installed on this machine. I've done various tidy ups of the installer in recent times. Ill take a look soon. Last time I looked it was good on 64 bit but not 32 bit because of the Microsoft changes. Unless I messed something up and i can't recall making any changes but if its a new setup it could be an older missing MS visual C++ runtime. Cheers. Tom.

Looking to remove any possible video or input lag GameEx will now lower its process prioirty to idle after launching an emulator. Fixes to the sync refresh MAME display feature. I revisited all this and looked at GroovyMAME usage on an LCD. It will work with GroovyMAME but on a 5 year old mini PC I reverted to vanilla MAME in my new Chewlix build, I incestigated all this again and other than going with a Mister, your best bet in 2024 is to go for a G Sync monitor for MAME for no tearing and input lag on an flat panel. In MAME attract mode the bezel will try to show the logo first if available rather than marquee. Looks mich nicer. View the full article

Oh wait, so it is working your just not seeing the DMD. Yeah, this is probably to be expected in some cases. Sometimes windows wont capture DirectX.

That's fine and forgetting about the theft occurring against my product from wherever you purchased your "piece of shit" I understand. Its just if you want 1 on 1 personal support I think you should be prepared to pay for it and enough to cover the niche specialty expertise. Maybe you are? If so I apologize and please go ahead.

So if anyone does want to help him/her I would try to remember its tough times and ask them to pay and get it up front. Of course if they want to try and help themselves a little they can get it for free as always.

Honestly, adding tables is a grey area but i am sure people would help if you were willing to pay a good price for it but do you?. It can be fun for us but we don't all get a real kick of doing that stuff. We are not all suckers either.

Id be happy to pay for it without the adware and spyware. I think they make too much money from it though.

I'm still avoiding it. I got nothing running it right now.
