  1. im working on it. mp4s stream off ftpbrowse now. see for example. https://ftpbrowse.gameex.com/-PinballX-/Media/Tutorial Videos/8-Ball Deluxe (Bally 1980).mp4 ps: At this point at least i got the space and bandwidth.
  2. by the way, you got no gpu drivers on that new machine: Adapter: Microsoft Basic Render Driver Thats an issue.
  3. yeah, not really doable. no problem streaming a video but youtube is a problem...
  4. nice thought, but that won't work.
  5. Streaming from a URL is not a problem but YouTube is problematical unfortunately. Sounds like you need a NAS and a symbolic link...
  6. Unfortunately its free speech these days until someone more prevalent than you don't like it. Sounds like a horrible place to work anyway. You are better off. Anyway 64 bit windows 7 should be good, it will use .net 6. Again, I'm often working on performance so make sure you are on the latest if you can. Most recent version significantly reduced the size of the binary. I will look at the delay. Again, you raise a good point and I completely get it.
  7. is it 32 bit windows 7 or 64 bit? PS: That is equivalent to a "Fuck the police" tattoo! No offence but not smart buddy! I had to look it up, and now I know but it looked like an anti gay thing at first. Sorry, remember I am from the UK and not always up to speed on everything over there. Its kind of funny though! Someone was obviously oversensitive to complain about that. That's crazy.
  8. I will take a look. I do understand what you are saying. I never see performance issues here but have seen it in old youtube videos. I don't see a log from you. Don't know if you are using an old version or using an old OS. I often work on improving performance. As a tip, excluding the PinballX folder from anti virus helps performance. If you trust me ps: sorry about the job.
  9. just wanted to say that Ive not had much luck with 25h2. it was offered on one machine via windows update and that failed and rolled back. Now its no longer offered. I tried the update tool on my laptop and that failed and roll backed too. Both meet the requirements. Weird. Although my only win 10 device upgraded fine via windows update. it was just offering windows 11 from 10 but did install 25h2. in other news, im planning to try out the arm version soon. if you go to linux you can test GameEx cross platform me
  10. This is pretty impressive. I am interested to know how you got it to overlay. I thought that would be hard because of directx.
  11. i was thinking about this and you do have a point, normally on a pc there is a key delay when scrolling. i believe its 60 ms normally. Think of how you scroll in a document. i think it is worth me looking at it.
  12. Just a little fix that mainly broke browsing for media files. Updated .net 8 runtrime. Some good news. It looks like intel fixed their processer GPU drivers on 12th gen and above at some point and VMR 9 video playback is working again. This is accelerated. I always recommend those 12th gen mini PC's and this was a problem. Fixed on screen display of video playback. View the full article

  19. I can see that is an old version too. What made you want to use an old version on a new install? Would just like to understand. Did you not know it is updated?
  20. I met up with a neighbour for the first time during lockdown. He enjoyed emulation and had heard of Launchbox but had not heard of GameEx or any others. I showed him what I did and talked about the history and other front ends. He gave me a slogan. GameEx - Just play your games,
  21. Thank you for letting me know. Fixed now.
  22. Significantly reduced the size of the executable. This should result in faster startup time and performance. View the full article
