  1. It's always possible that updates can create problems, but I believe it to be more the exception than the rule. The fact this coincided with a GPU change makes me think it's something else. If you cleaned your registry of the old entries and reinstalled the drivers, then you've eliminated one piece of the puzzle. What codecs are you using? Shark 32 bit are the recommended, and this is the version linked on the PBX site.

    Full screen for better effect
  3. Might try ccleaner after the uninstall to get the remaining files. For integrated MAME support within GameEx, you shouldn't need to venture into the advanced configuration. Have you configured MAME in the emulator section?
  4. Given your description, it sounds as if something may have went South on you during the registration installation. Hopefully a reinstall will resolve the issue for you. I'm obviously biased, but I think if we can successfully work you through this, you will be much happier with a current, and supported product.
  5. That seems odd in itself you should be able to literally put them just about anywhere and point to them without issue. You never did say if you updated. Once in GameEx, and in the MAME section have you clicked update, and let it do it's thing?
  6. Sounds like you've most likely read the threads about adjusting for the filtering options already, but the problem you're describing is almost always related to this. Have you tried downloading the current version and simply doing a over the top installation, followed by updating? You should post your .ini and log so we can see how you have things configured. Integrated MAME support or Emulator? We don't have a whole lot to go on. How to ask for help
  7. Did you update after you finished your configuration? Is that really your roms path?
  8. What capture dongle do you currently have?
  9. If there is, I'm not aware of it. These settings in the config should get the majority. only working games-false allow imperfect-true verify roms- false only roms available- true no filters and remove "Japan" from the games filtered in the Advance Mame settings Also, dont' confuse Adcance Mame Settings with AdvanceMame
  10. Have you checked to make sure you don't have the keys overlapping? You may need to remap some keys in VP to avoid same key conflicts with PBX. Edit: "Windows Technical Preview 64-bit" Which version is this? Also, are you running as administrator?
  11. Check here Scroll down a bit until you get to the filter options. Add the title to the "Don't filter these ROMS"
  12. It's most always a setting with the filtering that causes this. Did you set verify roms to no? Check Dazzle's post here for more detail If you've tried all these, and still have issues, please start a new thread. Since your original issue has been resolved this one will be closed.
  13. jedah must be the man of the hour / week, first anniversaries, and now following up with a birthday. Hope you have a good one man!
  14. Well, just missed strike suit zero;DC for 3.99, had 3 left, and just like that, Alan Wake Edit, after looking at it 4.49 for AW was a great deal, scored!

  16. I look forward to the day where I can post in this thread with my fav Great thread rtkiii, I hope everyone follows your lead!
  17. What error code are you receiving?
  18. Hope you both have a great Birthday!
  19. If that's not it in the site manager for your server check and make sure it 's set to use plain FTP. I'm using an older release, and I've read that TLS is enabled by default in the current version.
  20. I can login to both as a basic user, and as a member. Are you using port 22? You should be using the default port, 21
  21. Generally speaking, it's not always a smooth transition when changing GPU manufacturers, as the drivers tend to leave remnants. A couple suggestions. Uninstall your current AMD driver, download CCleaner free, and run the registry cleaner Reboot Re-install current AMD drivers. Alternatively, uninstall your current AMD driver then download and run Display Driver Uninstaller to clean out the leftover nvidia and AMD drivers. Reboot Re-install current AMD drivers Admittedly I haven't used the current display driver uninstaller, but previous uninstallers made available at guru3d have always worked well for me. As always, YMMV.
  22. Thanks for the reminder garetmax, I had not done this. Voted!
  23. It should be available to the public now.
