  1. Seemingly there are those that have this issue, and those that do not. Sure makes things frustrating when trying to troubleshoot things for sure. virtuoso posted a solution for his problem, and while not the same issue, it could be worth looking into as a possibility.
  2. Thanks for sharing your resoloution with everyone!.
  3. Would be a nice sign for the mancave! SEGA games routinely have had some cool designs, same goes here. Cool showcase
  4. It's not so much a difference in running the games as it losng things like the filtering options, grouping options, and custom menu's. Really by not using integrated you're just by-passing many of the cool features unique to GameEx.
  5. Yep, call of dooty has become the madden of fps's
  6. Well, got to The Beau this evening after a nine hour plus drive, and the arcade doesn't consist of classic, not from my era anyway, games. A combo Galaga/Mrs Pac-Man was about as classic as I found after a quick walk through. Still some quarter worthy games, After Burner Climax along with some good looking racing sims. Lot's of wack a mole type crap, and crane-a-prize BS unfortunately. Still, it was a nice sort of step back into the past, walking into a room full of game machines all competing with the music for top billing was a feeling I haven't experienced in so many years! I'm betting you're in for a hell of a time at the galloping ghost!
  7. As if EA has to do anything else to make people hate them more, but hey, at least they found something they're good at! I don't know how many of you guys read jackhammerslam's website "The 3rd Level", but I make a habit of checking it out at least every few weeks, and just saw this posted there. I can't say that I've played any of the recent installments, or even had the desire too, but man I recall playing SimCity 2000 back in the 386/486 days until I couldn't hold my head up any longer.
  8. PBX site is up! Happy updating
  9. This sale became quite addictive, I found myself watching it with great anticipation of what the next title would be. Fortunately I was able to restrain, and didn't go crazy with purchases! I deleted the email without even thinking twice about it, so thanks for the descriptive post nP!
  10. It would appear you have in fact discovered something. Disabling touchscreen resolved Brandonjmusic's issue as well
  11. Well considering duloz's most recent findings, it would seem disabling touch screen would be tops on the list to try and resolve your issue as well.
  12. That's good to knoiw, thank you for following up with your findings. It will most certainly be something to keep an eye out for.
  13. I would loive to see what you design and build, please keep us posted in the gamers rig section as you progress through your project(s).
  14. That's classic!
  15. I thought about suggesting the history.dat ealier, but then thought nah. So since we are thinking outside the box so to speak, another idea I had was to toggle the fiilter on, remove Japan, and update. Just an idea!
  16. Nice work brienj. Go here and click on "upload file" over in the middle right hand side, and follow the prompts. Once approved it will be available in the downloads section. Thanks for your contribution!
  17. That is sweet! So these apron DMD's are just windowed areas on your playfield screen, and not two dedicated mini screens? Clearly a newbie question, but I lack any type of experience with pincab's, and I am trying to learn from what you guys are doing. Your last link is broke BTW.
  18. Your config is integrated MAME. Check the wiki emulators section for where it would be if you did run it as an emulator. It's good you're not doing this, as it would bypass all the built in features GameEx adds to MAME. That said you could configure a slot for it just as with many of the emulators you already done this for: acrade>mame <edit> question about version deleted - Never mind, you clearly state 0.159 in your OP I don't see anything standing out as incorrectly configured.
  19. If that doesn't help, see here for info on files that will help in the toubleshooting proces. Specifically the gameex.ini and log.
  20. I wouldn't think so, it's just another keyboard to the computer,
  21. Good news, hope it holds up! <EDIT> Didn't see page 2 Didn't really have time to look at your config last night after you posted, but just glanced at the filtering settings. You will get more titles if you chage the following: VerifyRoms=True (false) GameFilter=Japan (take Japan out of this list, it filters some good titles, fighting games etc....) This is how I have mine set, and I have arouind 3600+ titles showing, and have had no noticable problmes with any of them not running correctly. And no, I haven't tried everyone of them
  22. PinballX needs the codecs to function properly.
  23. Cool man, give everyone a chance to look these over and make some suggestions!
  24. No, there is all kinds of crap none of us want, and Tom knows that Stuff like wack a mole and the like, it's filtered elsewhere, but if you have it verify, then it will check it to make sure it's 100% functional in every way. This really isn't necessary, and will exclude many titles!
