  1. Well, sort of negates the need for all these trees!

    FTP access

Welcome to the GameEx forums. You must have an FTP client in order to connect and manage uploads/downloads Filezilla is a popular FTP client that is free. Once Filezilla (or the client of your choice) is installed go to the site manager portion of the program, and create a profile for GameEx. Your a supporting member, so you will be able to connect on the default port of 21, not 20. Good luck!
  3. Rome has been pwned!

  8. Half-Life 2 Update now available for free Visual enhancements, bug fixes, perhaps it's time to revisit City 17
  9. It's great to see emphasis on this! Remembering controls is one of the more frustrating parts of this hobby for me. Good work man!

I thought those started at 50, I'm not looking forward to it either!
  12. Pinnalce Game Profiler is another option is Xpadder doesn't suit your taste. I believe it's safe to say that Xpadder is a community favorite, and getting Dazzle's stamp of approval is always a good indicator, but it's always nice to have an alternative. PGP is routinely on sale BTW! Sounds like Dazzle got you headed in the right direction, and you're all fixed up regarding the original question. I'm going to mark this one as resolved, but if you need additional help just ask.

Really, no love for Cadbury? Don't you have the creme egg over there? Man, when I was a kid my grandmother ruined me with those things!

    I like it!
  16. Sorry man, that's seemingly how it goes sometimes for me too.
  17. That's good to know! If they're getting that thin, they'll be easier to fit into a pincab (you know, when I get around giving that a go)
  18. You can use GameEx for free for as long as you wish, at the expense of the nag screens. GameEx Lite is just a version of GameEx that runs MAME only, based upon past experience. Using it though eliminates some other varibles from the mix, and so it can be useful not only as a feature, but in some troubleshooting instances too. I'm out of ideas, but hopefully somebody will chime in with a solution.
  19. Certainly not the latest, greatest, but a lot of bang for the buck for a 256 bit card. Sapphire 6970

    Hello

Welcome to the forumsViktory2k1! Since your focus is on building a pincab, I moved your thread to the PinballX section of the fourms. Good luck with your build, and please share your progress in the Gamer Rigs section
  21. I've found that GPU drivers pulled down from windows update for AMD cards to be particularly problematic. If that's where you got them, there's a good chance that's your problem. It's rare that I've had trouble with official AMD releases though. I know people that would curse me for that statement! What's specific buttons do you use to exit? Anyway that is possibly conflicting with something else you recently installed? Is this when exiting a MAME game, console emulator, Daphne, or just exiting anything in general? If it's crashing only when exiting MAME, does it behave the same way in GameEX Lite? Just some ideas, and it couldn't hurt to run system file checker. from an elevated command prompt: sfc/scannow Have you recently installed new codecs?
  22. It is noted that the Shark codecs are 100% UAC compatible, and recommend that UAC be enabled when installed. Also run as administrator any time the settings are changed. You may have followed this to the letter, but I thought it worth mentioning.
  23. Love your "holster's" Did you strip the bezel off the monitor, or is it that thin on the edges? Looks nice!
  24. .....quick search....yeah, that looks like it would be fantastic! What a way to spend your 40th!
