Tom and Draco speak the truth. I moved out when I was 18. I had brief stints living back with my parents. A few weeks when I was waiting for my house to be moved into when I was 25. The latest was for 6 months when I lost my (different) house, was pretty much broke paying for lawyer fees fighting my son's mother to be able to see him, and had nowhere else to go. That was 2 years ago, when I was 35. My second priority, aside from getting joint custody of my son, was to get back out on my own.p

I'm taking a stab in the dark here, but do you have "Hide OS" enabled?

In doing some research I've found a number of people recommending the anniversary edition Pentium G3258 with a Z97 motherboard. Apparently it overclocks like a beast and has great performance with Dolphin. It's also about $50(USD) right now. Those with a mid-range AMD graphics card and you should be good to go.

Godspeed! I had a m-itx AMD AM1 build stuffed into a SNES case, but I hacked the crap out of it. It ended up not closing very well. I can't wait to see what you come up with.

FWIW I have a PC with an i3-2120, Asrock H77M-ITX mobo, XFX Radeon 7770 Core, 8GB DDR3-1600 RAM and it chugs on a fair amount of Wii games. I haven't optimized, or do anything besides the initial setup on Dolphin though. I ended up forgoing Wii emulation all together on my primary PC as my Wii still runs fine. I don't doubt what DazzleHP posted, but you'll have to do some tweaking to get it running properly.

Just start the install. GameEx will take care of the rest.

Shadow Complex is a great game if you like Metroidvania style gameplay. I've played though it a few times on the XBox 360. It's available for free during the month of December. You do have to download the Epic Games front end, but it's worth it for a great game for free. As an added bonus you can download the new Unreal Tournament beta as well. www.shadowcomplex.com

u-man, I am also enjoying your settings. I had a friend over yesterday to play some Capcom fighting games and he was quite impressed, especially with the CRT look on a flat panel.

You can look at it however you want to suit your fancy. Lucas had no idea they were going to do the prequels, no matter what he says. They also didn't have the man hours of the combined Star Wars fan base to make sure every thing in the prequels jibes with the OT.I find the movies much more enjoyable if I just suspend my disbelief and watch the movies. That being said there are a few glaring points that don't make any sense. Like when Leia kisses Luke and then at the end of RotJ said she always knew they were brother and sister. Gross.

I just purchased a (different) SNES,a NES, and a N64 controller from Amazon last week. They make playing the games 1000 times better to be sure.

Oh my God did Time Traveler eat a lot of my quarters. On topic I do remember games that had mirrors. I'll be damned if I can remember any specific game though. Operation: Wolf maybe? Edit: Looking online Operation: Wolf did have a mirrored display. The reason they did it was to give an illusion of distance to the display.

I just upgraded from legacy member to Evolution lifetime member and I still feel like I'm getting a good deal. If you look at it kind of like a Kickstarter project you can't be that upset. You're paying for a future product and you get to use the current, still awesome, product while you're waiting.

I've used AMD since the K6-2. Every computer I've built for myself, except my last desktop which has an Intel i3, has had an AMD processor. Every GPU since 2000, save one GT 6600 that was given to me, has been ATI/AMD. I've not had any problems with any of their products. I do hope they bounce back because the competition is a good thing like tthurman said. It's not looking very good at the moment.
