  1. A bit late with that nugget of information, but I'll know it for next time. Ha. Thanks. I think I may have found part the issue. It seemed to fart out when the file name didn't match the game closely. It was close enough to call up the correct file, but upon exit from the emulator it would get stuck. That happened only on games where the Title Logo file name wasn't super close to the ROM file name. I've since changed from Title Logos to Boxes for the display on the second screen and I cannot recreate the problem.
  2. I did a quick test last night. Same thing happened. I'm going to check the files after work today. I noticed it pulled up the title screen for Castlevania. I don't have MM pointed to title screen caps, just title logos and 3D boxes. I'll have the log and everything for you as well. Thanks for jumping on the so quickly.
  3. For what it's worth I'm not a content creator as I just don't have the skill set for it, but I do recognize, respect, and appreciate everything people like yourselves(stigz, Draco, night), Tom, Adultery, Headkaze, gstav, Tempest, Circo, and a slew of others I can't recall off the top of my head, do for the community and hobby as a whole.
  4. Hey stigz, this program is great. It does exactly what I want it to do, and it's not as complicated as CPWizBiz is. Thanks for writing both of them. And now it's time for the bug report. When going into and out of MAME games it works like a charm. If I use another emulator (Nestopia for example) it will almost always hang on the screen image for the game that is currently playing as I exit out. It's like it doesn't recognize that the emulator has been closed. It has happened the 3 times I've used the plugin, but this was the first time I was smart enough to enable logging. Below are my MM log file, GameEx.ini, and log.txt files for you should you need them. Here's what I did in the files posted. Started GameEx. Went to MAME menu. Scrolled through a few games. Started and exited a few Golden Tee games. Went back to main menu in GameEx. Went to NES menu. Started Mega Man 2 and played through a stage. Exited back to GameEx. Marquee Masher hung up for a few seconds, but then started showing files for the correct games again. Opened up Castlevania and played through a level. Exited back to GameEx. Marquee Masher hung on Castlevania and did not show the correct image any longer. Went to the main menu on GameEx. Went to the MAME menu. Opened up 1944. Played through a level. MM continued to show Castlevania graphic. Then I exited out of 1944, then exited out of GameEx. Thank you! MMLog.log GameEx.ini
  5. Nice. I was having the same video issues others were reporting in the 14.46 thread, but this fixed them. I was also commenting today about how fast you fix software issues compared to....well just about every other developer. Awesome work! Thank you.
  6. There's another section that asks if you want to auto update. I believe it's a few screens before this one, but I'm not at home to check.
  7. Yeah all five of us used to beat the snot out of each other, but we get on well with each other now. Granted there have been times when one hasn't talked to another, sometimes for years, but we always know if we need anything we could always call and past transgressions would be put aside. That kid in the video though, he's just a turd.
  8. My brother and I constantly fought playing Tecmo Bowl mostly because he's a cheating bastard and would use Oakland for the unstoppable Bo Jackson or New York to block every single P.A.T. One day my dad had enough after we unplugged the controllers and started beating each other with them. He took the NES outside and took a sledge hammer to it. Needless to say we were devastated. On the positive side since my brother bought the NES with his own money my mom made my dad buy a replacement. We did have to wait a few days, but we never fought over a video game again....while our parents were home anyway.
  9. I just want a new Metroid. A new Metroid that's not Federation Force.
  10. Happy birthday, good sir. Your contributions to the community have been great, and I hope your many days ahead are greater by tenfold.
  11. This is great. Thanks for your hard work! They add that "wow factor" to an already great thing.
  12. I couldn't get ver 2.2 running for whatever reason, but I think I may have found a solution. Fire up the GameEx Setup Wizard. Select Advanced at the beginning part. Click the Right Arrow until you get to Advanced Emulator Setup. Select your N64 Emulator at the top of the page. Go down to Advanced Config. From the pull down menu select [Mapping Off] Exit (Alt+F4). That might do the trick.
  13. I know you've already posted it in another thread, but can you post your GameEx.ini and log.txt files please. I'm using Project 64 ver 1.6 in Windows 10 and it exited fine using GameEx. When I ran the emulator separately and hit Esc it switched from full screen to a window as you've already experienced. I don't currently have it running as admin or with any compatibility settings. I'm going to download the version you have and see if I can recreate the problem.
  14. I may or may not have WMC on my emulation rig running Windows 10. It's pretty simple to get up and running. Still rocking Windows 7 on my main PC for primary recording duties if only for peace of mind.
  15. My bad. Sorry, Tom. I forgot about that change.
  16. This would make for a great feature request.
  17. Mike Tyson beat me more than Robin Givens in the 80's. I still can't beat that game.
  18. If Hudson doesn't say "That's it, man. Game over, man. Game over!" at the end of the game it'll all be for naught.
  19. Sega was on to something when they thought up "Nintendon't"
  20. Thanks, tt. I love that he appreciates, and enjoys playing, old games. Shakey's looks pretty awesome. Is it me, the video, or do they run their games fast as hell?
  21. It was the first game to have a battery backup to save if I remember correctly. You can only save after you die though. It's a good game. Half the fun is exploring and trying to find where you need to go to next. It's not as brutal a Metroid was a far as figuring out where to go. The puzzles are fairly easy as well. As an added bonus after you beat it you can run though a second time with the locations of the dungeons, and the dungeons themselves, changed up. Or create a new save file with the name "Link" to shortcut to the 2nd quest. You could probably work though the entire game in 10-15 hours.
  22. I go in spurts as well. In the last year, after I got my console emulators set up how I liked them I moved on to learning MAME. Once I got that dialed in I built a CP. When that was done I started messing around with Pinball FX2. That spawned into messing around with VP and FP, which then led to Pinball X. Now I've rebuilt my CP to include buttons on the side for pinball and a trackball (which I still haven't ordered yet) because Centipede and Missile Command. This was after not touching any games besides Minecraft with my son and Metroid Prime Trilogy for most of the last 3 years. I'm sure lack of spare time won't allow for much gaming coming into the summer and fall, so when winter comes I'll probably be back at something again. Building a cab is the next logical step. Hopefully I'll be in a big enough house by then. Collecting achievements is fun and all, but I'm old school in that getting a high score, or simple beating a game is enough for me. This guy is a big reason for churching everything up as well. Otherwise I'd be happy just using an Xbox 360 controller for most everything.
