  1. Nice! I've taken to installing all of my emulation stuff to a storage drive, but I'm going to have to take the next step like you did. It'll save a lot of headache down the road.
  2. I spent entirely too much money on MODO. I'm still spending money on Hearthstone, but not nearly as much. $20 for the PvE adventures which nets you cards, and when a new expansion comes out I'll buy $50 worth of packs. Other than that I'll get packs or do arena runs (basically draft) with gold. The truth is I'm a lot better at Hearthstone than I ever was at M:TG. Being a CCG there are a lot of similar mechanics and everything I've learned playing Magic since 3rd edition (6th online) to Mirrodin and again when Zendikar came out translated well. I hope to see you, Classic.
  3. Is anyone here playing Hearthstone? I gave it a go during Beta, stopped for a few months, and have been playing pretty much non-stop since it became available on Android devices. It's like Magic: The Gathering, but quite a bit simplier. There's also a fair amount of randomness which some players might find unappealing. If you're playing add me on battle.net: KustomKid77#1866
  4. I'm not 100% sure if it's possible. Someone with more knowledge can answer that. What I did was copy the regular box art files to the 3D box art files foldee and chose to not move and replace existing files. Then I changed the paths accordingly. It's not ideal, but it worked as a majority of the box art was 3D and it fixed the ones that didn't have box art.
  5. Happy late birthday!
  6. I've used an older version of these http://www.microcenter.com/product/408943/x for an Xbox 360 and a htpc without issue. This was using a slow connection (3 down/512 up), on different circuits for each wall wart in a house with 30 year old wiring. In network streaming content was fantastic. Netflix and Hulu worked great as well.
  7. We're getting closer and closer to me not having to set up Kodi! Awesome update.
  8. Well someone got it working according to YouTube. Only one gun works at the moment. Someone asked how they got it working. Maybe the answer will show up there. Sorry I couldn't be of more help, but I don't have an AT gun (I would love one though) and neither of my computers will run Dolphin very well. Here's the YT video.
  9. The Dolphin Bar just allows you to use Wii Remotes (and accessories) on your PC just as you would on a Wii.If anything I think it would interfere with the AT light bar.
  10. I couldn't look at him/them long enough to see. I DO want to sleep at some point tonight. I'm afraid that guy is hiding in my closet.
  11. Work stuff Friday, and hanging out with friends Friday night and Saturday. I've never been there before. It's an awesome city. A bunch of great restaurants, the city itself has a lot of sweet buildings, and I love checking out university campuses for some weird reason. We ended up drinking beers at the UW Student Union on the water Friday night. I can't wait to go back. The tolls though Illinois suck though.
  12. I just stared at the captions. Those guys were creepy. Good stuff though.
  13. I'm intrigued. Hopefully they'll hit Michigan or Indiana before too long. I was just in Madison last weekend, but I stuck to Wisconsin brewed beers. When in Rome and all that.
  14. It's a great thing!
  15. Happy birthday, freq.
  16. Thanks, Draco. You've explained my post better than I did. You even linked to the same "dummy" switches I use. Ha.
  17. Am I weird for buying the 3 disc set of Final Fantasy VI (III) OST imported from Japan? THPS always had amazing music. GTA:VC was great as well. I remember the commercial with Flock of Seagulls.
  18. Just get a switch. I have an 8 port switch connected to the cable modem/router then to the Ethernet cables running through the walls of the house. Another switch is in the living room connected to the wall RJ45 jack with an Xbox 360, Roku, and soon to be my HTPC/Emulator box. It's a much cheaper solution. I don't use the ports on the router itself save one for the internet connection as they're 10/100. All of the switches are 10/100/1000. You're router should assign all IP addresses accordingly.
  19. And here I was ready to pony up full price. Thanks, Tom!
  20. Thanks. There's a ton of ads. Sorry about that, but the story explains it better than I could. I don't get to play much myself. Maybe an hour or two of total game time each week. Turns out adulting really cuts into one's free time. Adultery, it plays fairly well on a low spec'd PC. It's still in early development, but so far so good. I've mapped the keys to my CP and I'm digging it so far.
  21. Hey gang, I have two invites to the Rising Thunder alpha if any one is interested. It's a fighter, but without the requisite long joystick and button presses to pull off combos and special moves. You can even play it with a keyboard if you want. The first two to PM me will get the invites. http://www.pcgamer.com/rising-thunder-a-pc-only-fighting-game-from-experts-in-the-genre/
  22. I'm running GameEx with Windows 10 on the last preview build. The only problem I'm having is with the Fusion emulator and that was quite a few preview builds ago. I need to check it again. MAME, Visual Boy Advance, Nestopia, SNES9X, and Stella are all working fine. As are my Xbox 360 wireless controllers and IPAC2 based control panel. My system is pretty low power and inexpensive (Athlon 5350, Asrock AM1H-ITX, 12 GB ram, cheapie SanDisk SSD). Win 10 runs a bit smoother than 7 did. That's a big reason why I'm making the jump.
  23. I loved watching Arena and G4TV (the show) on G4 and Call for Help on TechTV. The shows like tthurman posted were always good to watch as well. I just started listening to Leo Laporte again. He...well sometimes he just gives bad advice. It's fun to hear him qualify the bad advice though.
  24. This makes me miss G4/Tech TV. I remember watching this show a few times back then.
