  1. @koolywiz you should be good. 2.19 doesn't change much of anything if you're already set up. I installed it over 2.17 and everything is working the same as before. That being said I always make a backup, just in case, and delete it after a few days of use if something does go haywire.
  2. @tthurman I did see that post by night. I had GE already set up similarly where I was using the Title screen snapshots from Emumovies instead of an alphanumeric list. His setup looked a lot nicer. I did see his uploads on the FTP, and @Draco1962 I saw the 400x400 logos as well. What I did was make a new folder and copied the title screen snaps into it. I then resized the 400x400 logos and overwrote the title screen snaps they replaced. The result was mostly successful. There are a few out of proportion logos, and where there aren't title logos the title screens fill in nicely. Thanks for the help guys. I'm starting to mess around with GIMP and IfranView so hopefully in the near future I can start contributing some.
  3. Happy birthday, dude.
  4. This is a bit off topic, but how did you get the logos to fit at 400 x 400? I had to resize everything to be 256 x (whatever) and a fair number of them are out of proportion in order to be able to see the entire logo.
  5. Right! I'll try to give it a go tonight. If not it'll have to wait until next week. Thanks for this plugin, and everything else you do!
  6. I'm on my lunch break at work right now, but I know they're both set to yes.
  7. Yup. That's exactly what was happening.
  8. Oh, if you didn't hate me before you will now. I updated to 1.2.3. First I copied over just the DLL. I got a Windows error but I can't remember what it was. So I copied over the entire folder and DLL. I got it configured, fired up GameEx. It wouldn't allow me to "go back" to a previous menu in GameEx. I exited out and made sure the keys used for "go back" were working. I then added 4 more keys to "go back" within GameEx and tried it again. All it would do is make the screen MM is running on go back to the previously shown item. After reinstalling version 1.2.2 with the DLL you had given to me earlier in this thread everything is working again. Attached are the MMLog and GE log files from 1.2.3 MMLog.log log.txt
  9. Good to hear!
  10. Yes. It's the page with the header "GameEx Online" in the setup wizard. You can disable it altogether, or just disable the background service itself using the first two pull down items.
  11. But you get Dragon's Den, so there's that.
  12. GameEx Live runs a background service. It looks like that's what's giving your the error. You can disable it in the Setup Wizard. I can't give you specifics as I'm out of town at the moment, but you should be able to identify it in the Wizard.
  13. Right on. Just throwing the NIC thing out there because I wasted a few hours of my life troubleshooting a problem that was just a stupid box not being ticked. :-O
  14. Doesn't Emby send a magic packet to wake the server automatically? Also, check your NIC properties and make sure you have the box ticked to allow it to wake up the server.
  15. That looks about right. You'll have to mess with your MAC filter settings to see how you need to set different things up based on how they connect (local area network, Wi-Fi, etc.) but you're on the right track. And his phone's MAC address will need to be added if you want him to be able to connect with that. All internet connected devices have a MAC address. If he's running an Android device go to Wi-Fi, Advanced Settings, and scroll down to get the MAC address. Godspeed!
  16. 3 minutes of commercials for 10 minutes of show using Hulu Plus. :-/ That was really cool to see his enthusiasm for the hobby and his product. I'm happy for him that he made a deal on there.
  17. I'm having a the same issue. Basically I'm not sure how to get PinballX to display the video backglass files instead of the static ones that Pinball FX2 displays. If you put any type of file that isn't a picture file (.jpg, .png, etc.) in the Steam folder it won't display it. I think Marcdaddy is having the same problem.
  18. I was thinking this Data after reading how the day went.
  19. You got it. Thanks again!
  20. Well, that's a bummer that you can't recreate the error. I can't either! I'm not sure if you changed something with that last .dll file other than additional logging, but it worked perfectly. Attached are the MMLog and GE log just in case. I put it through the paces trying to get it to stumble, but it worked like a champ. Thank you!!! log.txt MMLog.log
  21. Right on. Thanks, stigzler!
  22. I noticed this from the GE log from yesterday, the one I previously posted a few minutes ago, and another where it crapped out on me again. The line from the log file reads " PlugIn: "Marquee Masher" caused an exception and is being disabled." Attached are the log and MMLog files from a different session. Same result: the plugin crashed at some point. log.txt MMLog.log
  23. That's the complete log. Good eye, it did crash. GE log file is attached. That coincides with the previous MMLog file. log.txt
  24. And it did it again. I Changed the parameters to show a default banner image for each system. Went to Atari menu and the correct image showed. Fired up Defender and the Atari default banner image stayed on the screen. Attached is the most current MMLog and Systems.xml. If you need more files let me know. P.S. I'm also willing to change everything back to how I had it in order to help you solve this, or set it up however else you need for you to pinpoint the issue. P.P.S. You rock! MMLog.log Systems.xml
