Big time rib recipe. I've gotten more compliments for these ribs than pretty much any other item I've come up with. It's for 35 pounds of ribs, but you guys are going to have to scale it down if you want. BBQ Sauce In a large mixing bowl blend: 1 Gallon of BBQ Sauce (Sweet Baby Ray's) 2 TBL Course Black Pepper 2 TBL Worcestershire Sauce 8 oz Yellow Mustard 6 Cups Brown Sugar 2 Cups White Sugar 2 TBL Garlic Powder 1 TBL Onion Powder or 3 TBL dried onion flakes Blend Well – date and store in fridge Dry Rub 1 # Brown Sugar ½ Cup paprika ¼ Cup Kosher Salt 2 Tbl Each of - Chili Powder – Ground Black Pepper – Cayenne Pepper – Black Pepper – granulated garlic – onion powder Ribs 1 Case Ribs – take off the back skin (or score with knife)– Rub with the above dry rub. Let sit for at least an hour. Overnight is even better. Grill until seared – place in roasting pan – bones up and add to the pan the following mixture: 1 #5 can of tomato juice (58 oz) use same can and fill ½ with barbeque sauce add (29 oz) use same can and fill ½ with wine vinegar add (29 oz) use same can and fill to top with water add (58 oz) Cover Pan with plastic wrap and Aluminum Foil and roast slowly for 1.5 hr on 350 in convection oven on low fan or about 2 hours in standard oven. Remove from oven, peel back plastic wrap and foil, and let cool in cooler. Once cooled cut them into either individual rib portions or 6 to 8 rib sections depending on how you want to serve them. When rib time comes reheat ribs in 500 degree oven for 5 minutes. Baste with sauce and heat for another 5 to 10 minutes or until sauce has begun to caramelize. An easier way to do it is to heat the sauce in a saute pan, place the ribs in a microwave for 1 1/2 minutes. Add the ribs to the sauce and heat both until the sauce caramelizes.
Sweet Jesus, do not boil your ribs. EVER!!! I have a pretty spot on rib recipe if you all would like it. The link thurmansevolution posted looked good, and the ribs you posted looked fantastic!
There are two sandwiches that we have on the menu at work that are amazing. The first one is smoked salmon BLT with Dijon dill mustard sauce. We brine and smoke the salmon in house and it's pretty awesome. The second is grilled cheese. We use dill havarti and goat cheese, tomato, and fresh basil on ciabatta.
It won't resize properly with photobucket. I dont remember photobucket sucking this much. I just resize it with paint shop when I get a chance and the upload it. It's been a busy week for me at work and it's not looking like I'll be getting a day off for another week or two.
Well, I managed to spend $1200 of her money and none of mine! The bad thing is now I want to build a new computer for myself because the one I built for her boots in 12 seconds and mine takes about 40 seconds. Plus the case is nicer than mine.
Micro center is hard to walk out of without spending way more than you planned. I'm headed there Monday to build a computer for a co-worker and I know I'll spend some money on myself.
An AMD 6450 should be more than enough to run anything you throw at it emulator wise. You can get a new mobo and video card for about $100 total and be good to go.
[Joe Dirt voice] Dang! [/Joe Dirt Voice] This is a brilliant idea for the subforum. I've already added several things to my long to do list. I might need to bank vacation days for the next few years in order to get it all done in one shot.
Happy birthday, Draco. I'd give you crap about being old, but you're not that much older than I am. Well, you were a sophmore in high school when I was born, but other than that you're not much older. Have a great day, sir.
Logos for portable systems would be a plus for me personally. I am using the logos that you've made for the systems that I have installed, but it's missing logos for the Nintendo DS, Nintendo Gameboy Color, and Nintendo Gameboy Advance. I'm sure others may have Wonderswan, Sega Game Gear, Neo-Geo Pocket Color.
These look fantastic. Great work! I know I'm very appreciative to creative members such a yourself that take time to create amazing things and share them with the community.
If you were to put it on the right side you'll be fine. If you put it on the left side you might cover up vents and everything would be hanging upside down inside the case.
Thanks. Pretty soon I might have to dump WMC for GameEx. If we can ever figure out a way to get DVR functionality and cablecard support I'd be all in! (a pipe dream I know, but a boy can wish)
