Hey Tom, Good work to migrate PinballX from .net 4 to .net5 64 bit ! I gave it a try on my normal PC and on my Cabinet. After install all is working fine (although I select not to install demo, I had demo's on it, but it showed all is working) But After I copied over my pinballx.ini Complete media dir (38 GB) and my databases. When I launch PBX .net5, it won't start. 06:43:12.01 20-10-2021: Error. Exiting 06:43:12.01 20-10-2021: 06:43:12.01 20-10-2021: The output byte buffer is too small to contain the encoded data, encoding 'Unicode (UTF-8)' fallback 'System.Text.EncoderReplacementFallback'. (Parameter 'bytes') I cleared media dir (so having no media loading), but didn't fix it. Must be something in my database Maybe caused by the XML files we created with Database manager ? So also added my database file I hope you are able to reproduce it PinballX.ini log.txt Databases.zip

Well, i reinstalled my cab a couple of weeks ago with a fresh w10 build and forgot the lav codecs. Didnt show any videos. I also copied the database dir and media dir over from backup. But all working fine. not sure about your issue as it is just guessing what . But if all working fine for you, just leave it as it is I just update everything on my cab

You are running a pretty old version of pinballX. Propperly pre installed when you bought your cabinet. Please upgrade to ,atest version and provide your loggile an pinballx.ini ias attachment if the issue still occurs After installing the lattest version, run the settings.exe and check the complete setup. As many things can be changed

Try checking the "disable esc key". Think i created my screenshot wrong... sorry for that Your quit key in pinball is also esc.( Key code 27). So make sense to check it it visual pinball. You use an key from keyboard to quit ?or a joustick button ?

Logs and vonfig file will be appreciated, but looks like your exit key in pbx is the same as the quut key in visual pinball. Same issue was lately mentioned on another forum as well and fixed to use another exit button/ key EDIT: Make sure you checked the "Disable ESC key" in Visual Pinball if ESC is your exit key in PBX Why you only have it on a few tables, is a mystery for me, I have 994 visual pinball tables and all closes via the exit button correctly

A small bug found that causes that MEGA API wasn't functioning at all on some devices. @scutters found quick a fix for this and we implemented and tested it. Caused by Http request that where using non TLS 1.2 see https://github.com/gpailler/MegaApiClient/issues/181#issuecomment-937378384 that has the same issue We now force all HTTP traffic in our code to use TLS 1.2 Thanks Scutters !

There is an option to auto position b2s from pinballx. Check your settings if that is set to disabled

You are faster than me. I reinstalled my cabinet last saturday with a clean os. And took me 3 days to get all up again if you are happy with it, you can leave it like it is.

Are you able to create a video to show your issue, so we have an visual idea of what is happening. ?

Is it the focus that it looses ? When I'm iin vp, and focus another program, it looks like vp is hanging. Dont see anything specific in your log

Not sure if I understand your question (sorry, Im Dutch) If you have an xml for vp9 and an xml file for vpx, you can merge them as a group. And can show them again via list option in the menu. Within Databasemanager we created an easy way to create those groups. It is under settings. Databasemanager has a manual included with pictures (no movies). I create a group called " all cosual pinball", that vontains my vp9 system, vp10 system, vpx proc systems , I hope this is what you mean, otherwise I still doesn't understand your issue

Can you create a screenshot of the error ? Never seen that ? And if you only got vp9 tables , maybe you have a miss configuration somewhere Can you post you latest pinballc.ini and your log.txt (as attachment and not as plain text)

This is because the .vpt extension will launch the correct visual 9 exe file. Launching from pbx you need to set the table as scutters mentioned to the correct exe. Gamemanager doesnt have the option and you need to change the xml file manually. Databasemanager has tan option in the main screen for visual pinball tables to set an alternate exe Not sure what error you have. A script error can be caused byanything, but ishould first to try to launch the table with the correct version of visual pinball.

Did you launch a vp9 table with the vp10 exe ?

That was the purpose to create it. Just an easy to use tool that can be used by everyone. We only dont have any videos that explains everything, but with the (included) manual, and the support forum, you can use it as a pro.

Just curious. Is VP running in full screen exclusive mode ? As your setting in PinballX is to : Maybe play around with those 2 settings bit. And also checks @scuttersquestions :
