  1. @PcTeknic Thanks, glad you like them! I concentrated on the mainstream companies to start with. I'll try to add more, but it might take a while as i've got a few things on at the moment (blame @Mike_da_Spike)
  2. Noticed i had an error in my previous reply (sorry, that may have wasted your time) Based on your last log most settings for the system entries are probably now correct except the parameters line. Please amend parameters to; -fullscreen 1 "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" and if that doesn't work try adding a file extension as Mike suggests (.bin maybe?, i don't know), so try e.g. -fullscreen 1 "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE].bin" If neither of those work then please post new log and ini files..
  3. Are you using a pup pack with south park? (and if you are are you using them with any other tables without issue?) Not sure how that'd cause an issue but might narrow things down. Also, it looks lke you use vpinmame in the front end. Try disabling that and see if that helps, easy enough to change back if it doesn't.
  4. My guess is you need to beef up the hardware , but double check the AV exclusions and maybe play around with the VPX settings to see if they help (the main thing that would slow it down is texture compression but you have that turned off already) Maybe @Tom Speirs will have a better suggestion.
  5. @steveg64 Don't know what your vpx video settings but if you have texture compression set to on that will slow down load time. Can you confirm the table in the log file you posted was one where you saw the issue? (for timing info)
  6. Is it just the tables that take longer to load that have the issue? I think there may be a limit on how long the loading screen / video is displayed for (but i'm not 100% on that), so maybe the slower loading tables just go beyond that. If it is that maybe you could speed up load times, use SSD if you're not already, anti virus exclusions etc. Edit - similar post here https://www.gameex.info/forums/topic/23765-loading-screen-disappears-vpx-still-loading/, no resolution so just for info
  7. I guess the problem now is indicated by the ffmpeg output; [h264_nvenc @ 00000000032779c0] Cannot load nvEncodeAPI64.dll [h264_nvenc @ 00000000032779c0] The minimum required Nvidia driver for nvenc is 436.15 or newer Not sure if @Mike_da_Spike can adjust script for that if you don't want to update nvidia drivers (as some people have bad experiences)
  8. The KillPinSound.bat batch file just contains the TASKKILL line in my post above. You can paste that line into notepad and then save as a .bat file by changing the 'Save as type' drop down to All files in Notepad. I have that file saved in C:\customscripts and so set that as the working path, but you can save it wherever you want and change the working path to match.
  9. Just change it to whatever folder you keep the batch file in
  10. I call this command in a batch file as a 'launch after'; TASKKILL /F /IM "PinSoundStudio.exe" /T Some people leave it running minimised. I prefer to close it after each table.
  11. No!... just putting it out there
  12. Just an additional note; it isn't just wheels and logos that can be animated - it also works for overlays and underlays. Loads of possibilities there!
  13. If you're on win10 you could try recording your own via game bar. Think it'll work for FP / opengl games. (but i don't run FP so can't confirm)
  14. Still looks like the same version of ffmpeg; ffmpeg version N-76648-g6f520ce Copyright (c) 2000-2015 the FFmpeg developersbuilt with gcc 5.2.0 (GCC) Did you update the copy in the pinballx folder?
  15. Can you post a new log file with that setting and crash? ta
  16. Err.. yeah, that! Skim reading again..
  17. Are rompath and romfile valid in pinballx, or gameex only? Anyway, i'd try chnaging ini to something like; WorkingPath=V:\Stella TablePath=V:\Stella\Roms Executable=Stella.exe Parameters=stella.exe -fullscreen 1 "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]" Parameters=-fullscreen 1 "[TABLEPATH]\[TABLEFILE]"
  18. @Tom Speirs Are the limits in the FAQ somewhere?. I can never remember what they are..
  19. Not sure what's happening.. does the same occur if you run an EM table? (just wondering if pinballx is calling pinemhi on exit table for SS tables and there's a problem there)
  20. Are you running VPX (or whatever) as admin?. You might just need to give admin to pinballx.
  21. Thanks mate.. now we can get even more high score information in the front end! Awesome I don't know how this magic of yours works - but i like it!
  22. You may need a playfield intro video as well as the backglass video for the backglass video to work. Copy the intro.mp4 and rename to test. If that doesn't work please update pinballx (you should probably do that anyway)
  23. Think you just need to rename the file with _backglass Have a look at this post
  24. Just reread the post and noticed this. I'd expect navigation in pinballx to be a lot quicker and smoother with that option off (so pinballx is only loading a video rather than the backglass), that is what i was suggesting to check - not to turn it on. It sounds like you have something else going on . Make sure you don't have any compatibilty settings set for pinballx as suggested by Tom, and reinstall lav filters from https://www.pinballx.com/
  25. That's what was confusing me then - i was looking for a disabled table! I can recreate the error using your current database files (with the table deleted), i will try to reproduce using my own database files with just having a table disabled next. I think it's because the table you disabled (then deleted) was on your favourites list. Edit - sorry, still investigating
