  1. Glad you got it sorted out. Marking thread as resolved.
  2. What's the command-line used to launch in your config? Might wanna post your config as well to help us troubleshoot. Thank you!
  3. Thanks for the share! It's a nice clean interface. I like it! Looking forward to it's release. The community will be greatly appreciated.
  4. No problem. Once I found the dat, it only took seconds. Took me longer to find the dat even though there was not many changes as it was.
  5. I would agree and say Windows 7 as well. Only problem you'll run into is running a few older dos emulators. But those can be ran through dosbox anyways as an alternative. Vista will give some compatibility issues. It's all a matter of preference.
  6. Here is the new MAP file for the SEGA Model 2 Emulator v1.0 for those who need it. It was requested by mesk and it's posted in the user submissions thread. Also can be reached through my signature. I haven't used Tempest's tool so it's something you may wanna try in the future. I don't mind making them as I have written tools for it as well. Enjoy!
  7. Weird how it's changing the "." character to "_" (underscore) character and then adding 7z file extension. I've never seen that. Will just wait for OP's config to better troubleshoot.
  8. Well it's adding that rom based on your filters and also your roms themselves. Perhaps play with those settings. So your roms are not 7zipped? They are uncompressed in the .a26 and .bin file extensions? Please post your config so that we can see your settings. Instructions on how to do so is located here.
  9. Great idea. It's ratings from emulation sites is how I usually determine which emulators to try. Great that it would be here so that we don't get repeated posts about which emulator the user should use.
  10. That's because -now is set by default anyways. No reason to set in GameEx. Didn't know Tom did that. Yeah. LOL. Late for some people but early for me since I go to bed so darn late. Got woken up so that's why I'm here.
  11. Taken from MAME documentation:
  12. Agreed and Topic has been moved! LOL. I've already forgot what has been seen.
  13. Hello and welcome to the forums. This topic has been done many times. Here's a few links to start with that the search feature has turned up: http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=8015 http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=8682 http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=6019 http://www.gameex.info/forums/index.php?showtopic=4993&hl= There are many suggestions there to what us senior members suggest. Also on my signature I have a list of suggested emulators with their command-line needed to run in GameEx. I need to do some updates to it but gives you an idea. To answer your 2nd question, yes I run on a 16:9 1080 display and all works well. Just takes some tweaking on the emulators part to give the results you're after like maintaining aspect ratio or actually stretching to fill the screen. If you have any questions then feel free to ask.
  14. Where's yours? Or do you need ours to get off?
  15. Sorry but the way this is worded is what's confusing me. Please explain. What exactly is not working? It is also recommended to troubleshoot by using the runitgame.bat file. Instructions on how to do so can be found here by Tempest.
  16. That would be the one!
  17. Either way, it seems like a bug and it's selective. Meaning that it's not affecting everyone. I notified Tom of this issue so that he can take a look and give his input. We'll wait for him on this. Thanks for he report guys!

    Merging rom

As mentioned yes this is how GoodMerge does this. To have this affect on a No-Intro set then I would download the P/Clone XML for the desired system. Then follow these instructions.
  19. Thanks Tom! Also thanks to Stilkdog for your contribution!
  20. This came to mind. Also a wrapper can be written to accomplish this. I know an AutoIt script can be written for this. Maybe AutoHotKey as well but not sure, would have to ask our AHK Scriptors. Other than that then google is your friend. There's some topics on this. If it were me I would just switch emulators. LOL. Hope that app I linked to helps or at least gives you some direction.
  21. Surrrrre pal! Nothing wrong with it. There's a few of us here that are actually into karaoke. I myself use to KJ at my local bar. It's fun.
  22. And you tried the setting I mentioned to see if that did anything? I'll have to check on those file names when I get a chance.
  23. It's probably something simple that I would rather just get to the bottom of instead of you spending so much time on this. If you want real time support then please click on the chat tab on top of the screen.
  24. Could very well be. Which is why i suggested to delete that file. If not then we can do some more troubleshooting. I always hate to say this to users but "It works for me"! LOL. So it has to be something silly like that.
  25. Maybe setting Snap Best Match to Yes Extra search (Slow) might work found in Tweaks/Performance? Not certain it will work and I notice that your roms have no standard naming convention to begin with. I would suggest rebuilding your rom set to a known naming convention and this issue could be avoided aside from what was already suggested and renaming each file. No big deal with a small set but could get ugly.
