  1. And up again!
  2. No problem! Enjoy!
  3. Glad we got it figured out. LOL. I wish I would have thought to look at the version before all that.
  4. No. That is the correct file and the one I was asking for. It looks fine as far as your paths now. Even though you have it listed twice which is unneeded. Now where is it being uppercased? I ask this cuz it's possible this emulator is particular about the casing which may be your problem. If not then the next thing will be to do is troubleshoot from command-line. If you want real time support, you can hit me up in the chat room so you don't post back and forth till we find a solution.
  5. Well that explains the rom not loading. LOL. The command-line is fine. The roms path is uppercased where? I've just tested from the command-line and it runs fine for me. Please post your Demul.ini file so I can have a look see.
  6. You do have the rom path set in the emulator itself, correct?
  7. Thanks for the news Circo!
  8. I'm not sure this loader is required any more since the newer versions support the command-line now as mentioned with the loader and also here in the user submission thread. I don't have this emulator setup so I will give more support if you can't get it going.
  9. No problem. Search feature can come in handy. User submissions is a good place to start though since that's what it was designed for. Other stuff sometimes gets lost in the forums when not posted in the right section which is why I use search quite often.
  10. Yay! Glad you finally got it to compile. It had to be something as I got it done both times I tried and I had never even compiled MAMEUI before. Yup! Windows 7 is a PITA sometimes.
  11. Crossing fingers!
  12. That is correct! The default location is "C:\GameEx" as of 10.62. The details on that can be found here.
  13. Whatever works for you!
  14. LOL. Always figuring it out after you post.
  15. If you are referring to the loader written by NoLogic, then I'm sorry to say that it can not be posted here and the reason why the link is dead. To honor NoLogic's wishes, all his loader/wrappers have been removed from the forums and he is unfortunately no longer a member. There is an alternative though, our Mod Tempest created a wrapper for the community to replace the one that was removed. It can be found here.
  16. Should tell us anyways!
  17. Thanks Tom!
  18. Just compiled again with your settings and no problems. So I'll wait for your response to see your results now that you're compiling now.
  19. I'll try with those setting when I get back to my machine. I'll post results after to see if those particular settings are causing issues.
  20. Need to change the No Bracketed Text setting in Advanced MAME Settings. Then rebuild your list again.
  21. No! Shouldn't be modified. That's the point in compiling an app is to generate the executable. Perhaps by your log, HK or another experienced user will know why it's erroring out on that section. Will post here for them to see if it rings any bells. Compiling src/osd/osdepend.c... src/osd/osdepend.c:138: error: redefinition of 'void osd_interface::update_hi(bool)' src/osd/osdepend.c:122: error: 'virtual void osd_interface::update_hi(bool)' previously defined here src/osd/osdepend.c:154: error: redefinition of 'void osd_interface::update_hi(bool)' src/osd/osdepend.c:122: error: 'virtual void osd_interface::update_hi(bool)' previously defined here make: *** [obj/winui/mame64/osd/osdepend.o] Error 1 make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs.... Finished! 0 Hours 10 Minutes and 11 Seconds Elapsed. I haven't compiled mameui64 so can't say I know the exact results of this. I only compile vanilla MAME. If no answers can be found then I'll attempt to compile this as well to see if I get the same results as you and report back. Let's give it a chance for someone to respond to this first. Edit: Just compiled no problems first time following the directions on HK's site. What options did you use? Maybe something set is making this not compile for you.
  22. I will point Tom to this topic so he can enlighten us. LOL. Thanks for the report guys! Mesk! You weren't starting to lose it. You lost it a long time ago before that. LOL. JK.
  23. I don't have any games in my favorites and it doesn't seem to follow the most played either. Not sure how it's coded. I would have thought it was random till I saw this post but never noticed it since don't run GameEx. I guess we'll have to wait for Tom to chime in and explain how it works.
  24. Thanks Tom!
