  1. LOL. Well that explains the missing files. Well it would be as simple as there being an exe in the source directory. But after looking at your log, it doesn't appear so. Looks like it errored out.
  2. There's a lot more files than that required to compile your own version of mame. Are you sure your downloading the whole source and then extracting it to that folder? Just downloaded to test.....and there should be a winui folder as well that contains all the source code files.
  3. Thanks Ninja Rygar! I knew that was a fix as we've seen it before with other emulators. Also thanks Adultery for that alternative (easier) fix for ZSNES. Glad MrGS got it sorted out. Enjoy and welcome to the forums!
  4. I would assume it's already being used because of what I mentioned above about the paths. Please post your mame.ini file and we'll take a look at your settings.
  5. So you have the MAME 0.140 source files in the Mame0140u1 directory?
  6. This is more likely due to ZSNES not exiting correctly for them to save. I would either remap your exit method within ZSNES or create an Advanced Config and have it send the default exit keys for this emulator.
  7. That's what I like to hear!
  8. Thanks for the contribution Draco1962!
  9. This is one of the commands you're calling: Running: cmd.exe /c C: mamep.exe centiped.zip That being said, where are the settings being called? There are no other arguments being passed to the command-line. So that means things are not being called but have to assume you're using a mame.ini file in your mame directory to call those settings or then it wouldn't even run the rom since the rom directory isn't being passed. To make it simple, do you have a mame.ini file in that mame directory?
  10. I'm glad you decided to keep it original mesk! That's a cool little machine that would have been a shame to have been MAME'd.
  11. Are you using a mame.ini file to call your arguments as I don't see any being called from the command-line shown in the log? Perhaps that's why it's not working if you don't use a mame.ini file.
  12. After reading the posts, all this can be done with a registered version of GameEx. No need to script anything. 7-zip will extract the files just fine. I do this currently with my NDS roms that are torrent 7-zipped. This can all be done the hard way but given that these are things that can be done with a registered version then I can not support doin this. That would basically be avoiding registering. Register! You won't be disappointed and it's the only front-end that will give you the results you're after natively.
  13. Yes, can be easily done. bkenobi mentioned Tempest's name as he's one of the few that have made one specific to a user. BrianHoffman is another. We have many scriptors here in the forums, myself included. I personally like to see a user put in some time and I don't mind helping with the code. But will take some interest on your part. If not then I would ask very nicely to just have it done for you. I'm not volunteering any of mentioned users as they would have to create something specific to only one user. And as mentioned, no other FE will do this. It will always take some work to get it done.
  14. Not in case of a video. There are videos that include them already. I remember there being a Standard version and Artwork version of a video. The Artwork versions are the one's with the bezels included. I don't remember the location of these videos but they do exist since I do have them on my system.
  15. Which few are showing? Is it like 5 or so? Have you verified the rom path? Have you verified the roms? If all filters are off then those 2 things would be the next reason for them not to show.
  16. You don't. You basically just build your roms to MAME version your using. That way they match. If they don't match then roms can not be ran correctly or at all at times.
  17. It probably has to do with how your filters are set. What results are you after? What filters do you have on now? Please give more detail. Take a look at the filters and play with those settings. They are all pretty self-explanatory. You can always click on the button to get detail about a specific one. An update to your list within GameEx is required after a setting change.
  18. Guys! Please refrain from mentioning these sites and how roms are obtained in the future. It is against forum rules. That's 3 edits in one topic. Not a good thing. Please read the rules.
  19. Also with the default theme I've always known it to be on the top of your game list, not on the bottom as previously mentioned. It's listed along with options like Change View, Back, Home, and Exit.
  20. Thanks for the news Tom! That's great! It will avoid a few questions that we've received in the past wondering when keys will be delivered.
  21. Glad you got it sorted out! Welcome to the forums!
  22. If this is an issue with that emulator and F3 resets the table, perhaps you can just add F3 to the send keys option for that emulator so that it's automated.
  23. Go into Emulator Setup and Click on Advanced Config button to open the Advanced Config Editor. From there click on the Game Pad Exit tab. Enable it and read the instructions (pretty self-explanatory). Then save your config to something that you'll remember. Exit out of Advanced Config Editor and the from the drop down button, select the config you just saved.
  24. There is not a setting for this. When the setting is used in GameEx to use the bezel then it creates it on the fly and then erases it after. If you can somehow figure out how to create the bezel files for the roms your wanting then it is very possible. I don't know of such a tool but then again have never needed such a tool to do this. Only other solution would be to put in a feature request to do this.
  25. LOL. Come on by. It's brand spanking new. Never been used. Just don't have the room for it where I'm at right now.
