  1. Previous versions are not archived. Archiving would keep from future development. Please give as much detail as possible and Tom will fix it fairly quickly. If anything maybe a system restore will hold you over until then.
  2. If it's completely locking up then it's hard to tell where the error is coming from during run time. How bow you check event viewer in the administration tools of the control panel? Maybe something there may be of use to see what's crashing.
  3. Thanks Tom!

    Maybe here?
  5. Maybe this may be of help?
  6. Again? LOL.
  7. Please test with the most recent version as I'm unable to duplicate this issue.
  8. AAE Map file released per mesk's request. I thought I had that one in there but was wrong. Here is the direct link. Also can be found in the User Submissions Topic under fRequEncy's Submissions and as always can be linked from my signature. Enjoy!
  9. Thanks Tom!
  10. Sorry to confuse you. You have 2 different people telling you 2 different things. Ignore my way and get your tables working Adultery's way for now. Until you get things figured out. It all really depends on your setup (where your roms are, type of files, etc.). You have your visual pinmame roms zipped and your visual pinball tables unzipped. So now that changes things.
  11. Yes! By registered feature, I mean that you have a registered version of GameEx which you do. Now that's a good thing that it's listing. I see you use a database. Perhaps you're clickin the wrong file to play? If your clicking on the first item, that's the title of the table. Scroll down and there will be the rom and try that one. If that's not the case then please give more detail (like which table, contents of that zipped file, etc.).
  12. sman26! Just run the following command-line and you should be fine with leaving your roms where they are. If you do run into problems then do as Adultery instructed, although I don't see how it shouldn't work. vpinball.exe -play -"[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"
  13. Can you give me an instance where this doesn't work? Because I have my tables zipped and when I run the table from a different location than the tables directory, they run fine. Don't the roms include all necessary files to make the table run correctly?
  14. I was talking about Emulator Setup. If you use Setup Wizard to setup your emulators, this gives you 255 entries to add that many emulators as opposed to 62 in GameEx Advanced Configuration. Splitting up your roms is fine. I just asked because there is a great feature that merges the roms together under one name and then displays a flag according the region of that game. So you get a nice clean list and then can still choose which region you want to choose from there. This setting is called Merge Sets found in Emulator Setup. And the More Games & Programs section aka HTML Applications in setup only gives you 6 entries. So this would require manually editing the config file. So now I'm confused about your 27. LOL.
  15. Hello! So it seems that you are using zipped roms. This is fine but keep in mind that it is a registered feature. If you are a registered then let's move on. The reason the filter *.vpt is required is because that's the name of the filter needed to run the table file. Your roms weren't showing up before because your roms are *.zip files which makes sense why they didn't show on the list. So the setting you also need to change is Zip/7-Zip/GoodMerge to Yes. Natively, this emulator does not support compressed roms so this setting gives it that ability. So it unzips it and then can run it. So steps are: Make sure you're registered! Change Rom Filter setting back to *.vpt in Emulator Setup Change Zip/7-Zip/GoodMerge setting to Yes in Emulator Setup
  16. User is having problems using the OpenGL renderer. When launching fullscreen GameEx steals focus and the emulator runs in the background. This issue is resolved when using the D3D renderer but not very helpful to the user as he has better performance using the OpenGL renderer. I was not able to duplicate this issue on my machine so any help would be appreciated. Only solution I would have is to run as a stand-alone emulator since you have more control of how the emulator is ran instead of using GameEx's integration. If you have any experience in this then please post a solution.
  17. E-mail TOM again that you have a key and need a new one to work since yours is outdated.
  18. Compiling your own version of MAME will take care of this. Do a search for HK's MAME compiler. It's an app that will do all the work for you. Just read the first post and it will link to his page with a download and instructions on how to compile your own version.
  19. Hit me up in IM so we can real-time troubleshoot.
  20. So you've used up all the 255 entries that Setup Wizard offers? This can be accomplished by adding more to the config but I wouldn't recommend doing that unless you really know what you're doing. And don't quote me on that cuz I'm not for sure certain. Also why setup each emulator for each region? As yes that would eat up your setups quite quickly.
  21. Is is one of those emulators that probably has issues with window focus. In my testing with the older versions, desktop had to be set to true. So it's probably by design. Not really cab-friendly. Only other solution would be to create a wrapper for it to make sure that the send key is sent to the correct window. After all you're testing I would have to say that's the only way at this point. I still haven't tested it myself but seems to be so after your comments. Sorry!
  22. ZiNc is a pain to setup. I really need to write up a tutorial on it. And it's such a pain to deal with because users use different ways of setting up. I'd have to cover them all. LOL. Anyways........ is the problem you're having with focus using the integrated part of GameEx or using as a stand-alone emulator?
  23. I found a setting that was interesting. Maybe you can try it out. In bnes click on Settings > Advanced Settings... > Check Always allow input. Give this a try and let me know what happens. I am unable to test from my gaming machine at the moment.
  24. Can you please post your config so I can see what else is going on please?
  25. Great! Enjoy! Post is being marked as RESOLVED!
