Hmmmmm just tested with those filters and now my list doesn't have the brackets as it's suppose to. Not sure about the mahjong and porn since didn't go far into the list. Perhaps just delete the gamelist.txt file (better yet, backup and then delete) found in the DATA directory of your GameEx install and rebuild list again to see if it takes.

Would still be the same as any other time. Just use one of the configuration apps to change settings. chriss is pretty knowledgeable when it comes to that. Can tweak to his liking so that any other features needed can be accessed still. Good luck on the project chriss!

No problem. LOL. I guess i was lazy to post the new features but then again it's easier looking at the news. Yes, the new tool is awesome! A lot of other great features have been popping up depending on your last version.

What are the exact filters you're using so that I can try to duplicate and troubleshoot for a fix?

The GameEx game card is a feature where the game you are currently playing is posted to the net (both name and image if you have one). Just like other gamer cards that are used by newer systems or gaming sites. Some of our users have them in their signature for everyone to see. Signing up for one is as easy as filling out your information here. An Example of what it looks like. I don't play much so it would show a pic if I had one for this game. To get more of an idea then take a look at some of the signatures of our users.

Take from Daphne documentation: Game Options-useoverlaysb <overlay number>Enables a graphical scoreboard for Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, or Thayer's Quest. The 'overlay number' is the style of scoreboard. Currently the two choices for the 'overlay number' are 0 and 1. VLDP only.So perhaps try the switch with 0 or 1 instead of 2?

Virtual Clone Drive doesn't support IMG files. Can you verify that it works on the ISO images? Also did you make sure to set the drive letter in the emulator itself so it knows where to look for the image?

How are you loading these images? What command-line are you using? Posting an emulator config would be helpful for us to troubleshoot.

The image is in the THEMES\Theme you're using\MEDIA folder of your GameEx install. The image is named ControlPanel.png. And I believe setting up the labels for it is done by using the theme editor. I've never tinkered with it myself so one of our Theme makers would have more input on that.

Did you make sure to rebuild the list after the change?

Welcome back! Instead of listing what you've missed, it's probably a good idea to see the news to see the new features that have been released since your last version.

It's on a per-emulator basis I would think. This is one of those things that needs to be asked. My first suggestion would be to search the forums (the link i suggested was top of the list. LOL.) and then second, just ask. We have quite a few knowledgeable people here so if asked then an answer is usually given. It's hard to cover these types of questions as there are many tweaks and hacks that are ok and some that are not. So many emulators to cover. It's a rare question that isn't asked as often so posting in the forums is suggested.

Should be the latest and yes you can reinstall and your settings will be preserved. To be safe, you can always just back up your settings.

That very well could be the reason. Tempest could be calling a different version which in turn would make it not work with that version. I've never used the loader so don't know what's required of it. If it's not included in his submission or notes than only he would know and unfortunately Tempest hasn't been around lately. Maybe someone who actually uses this loader would be of more help but your suggestion very well could be the culprit.
