It actually adds the removed files to a filter field. Its in the config app both for MAME and emulators. Just clear at the filed with a blank and save.

Not really, its easiest done in the front end. The files are stored in \data\ gamelist.txt for MAME amd gamelist.ini for emulators, but its not easy to do it manually there very cryptic. Why do you need/want to do this? Perhaps I can come up with a better solution? Cheers

I would recommend getting a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard, it you want good range. I am currently using a Microsoft Bluetooth keyboard. The mouse is very inacurate and low res and the keys get a bit sticky over time. Its average, and I would not recommend for Gaming. The absolute best I have come across, its its sheer quality is the logitech bluetooth nivo. It's pricey but believe me you get every penny's worth. It works in the Bios, the mouse resolution is extremely nice, it has decent multimedia controls, and the keyboard looks and feels superb. Most keyboards tend to be shit quality these days, including the ones by MS. Theres just not a market for quality made keyboards. Nivo is ian exception and bluetooth too. Then again, I do work on my HTPC as well as play.

Just curious to know, how did the font size options in the latest version work out for you? Also wanted to know what size TV your using and resolution for future reference. It really wasnt just for you by the way lol, but you prompted me to finally do it Cheers.

Thanks for joining the forum and posting Circo, feel free to keep us informed of all the great stuff your doing. I wanted to just say though using the free official Divx decoder is not a good idea for GameEx. It makes GameEx loose window focus as the free divx player starts a tray app (junk just taking up memory). Everyone would be much better using FFDSHOW http://ffdshow.sf.net. It offers hugely better performance and reliability in my experience, along with enhanced quality. Its also basically all you need for playback of most audio and video formats other than DVD.

It features an undo so it should be stress free. With version 0.31 you can modify the Windows boot screen. A GameEx image is included. Version 0.31 should also fix the auto login issue after second boot.

If your talking about the BlueEx themes the inline snap should display. So your saying you see the snap in the Default-Default theme but no in any of the BlueEx screens? I am not sure if your saying this is a theme issue or your not seeing the inline snap in any themes, in which case youve probably not set your snap path correctly or your snaps arnt unzipped. If not could you pleases say the actual BlueEx them theme with resolution that has the issue, or post your log.

Theres no need for a fix or registry hack. Theres actually a launch on on exit 'dont wait' setting in GameEx. Just use that. Its under tweaks performance inf the config app.. Cheers.

This is likely because you installed .net framework version 2.0 from windows update. GameEx is currently not working if 2.0 is installed. Just uninstall it from Control Panel, and make sure you still have v 1.1 installed. Cheers.

Can't say as its not a simple fix, although its currently top priority. You could always just uninstall 2.0 though, no?

Hi The Escape is by design, as GameEx runs on some Arcade Cabinets, basically Escape always quits GameEx normally whatever module or screen your in. Use Right mouse, backspace, spacebar or click the left arrow button on the toolbar to navigate 'Back' instead. There is also an option to turn off the Escape key processing in GameEx. Ill look at the .mpeg issue. Sorry, should have picked that one up earlier.

Just install over the top, it automatically upgrades your config files. It makes a backup too just in case. If your manually editing the ini files instead of using the config, you will keep all the settings but you will loose any blank lines or comments that you put in yourself. Not a biggie, just letting you know.

Working on it specifically for you, and its done. The next version will allow you to make Font Sizes bigger.

Yeah I get it too sometimes, which version of MAME are you using? Thanks for confirming it was not just my setup.
