  1. Yeah, just turn on "Hide Create Snaps", I even put it into the FAQ Yesterday.
  2. There's a bug in the encoder in the latest daily build of FFDSHOW. Dont work for me either. I don't know which other versions work but I know this one works well: ffdshow-20050303-sse.exe http://cutka.szm.sk/files/ffdshow-20050303-sse.exe
  3. Hi, Also, if you select the log fom the GameEx program group and look at the top, you can see the version.
  4. Yes, and please post in the right place.
  5. All you need to do is enable the Hide Creates Snaps option in the configuration. I am well aware of the issue.
  6. 20th June, 2006 - GameEx 6.36 Much faster avi video creation for create snaps. Should resolve any choppiness or frame skipping on modern systems. You may see choppiness when the game is running, but this is after the capture has been copmpleted.
  7. Can we not have a new forum at all then, and you can just redirect folks here? It won't be in the way
  8. Hi Adultry, would you mind if we had a seperate forum here for the configs? Just would like to keep things centralised and easy for the user community. I am happy to create a new forum and make you a moderator. What do you think is that possible?
  9. Sorry folks, theres a bug in Auto-Update. If your upgrading from any version earlier than 6.35 your'll need to do a manual update.
  10. This should be fixed in 6.34 (now available). Your'll have to do a manual install.
  11. 18th June, 2006 - GameEx 6.33 For registered users it's now possible to create avi video previews for emulator games. Just select create snaps. Create snaps now supports shortcuts. More stable launching of emulator games - No more not returning to GameEx. More Stable Create snaps. Create Snaps menu item now shows when emulator is using a database. Create Snaps always resumes now. Ie there's not two sets of commands.
  12. In the configuration application what DVD Codec have you got selected?
  13. I don't plan to reduce the restrictions, but will make the TAB feature work with the undocumented setting in the next release.
  14. I just checked this out, looking very good, even already. Thanks a lot for this. Let me know if I can help at all. Tom.
  15. Hi Amos, yes I actually modifed your alpha themes I put on the GameEx site to do that before uploading them. If you download and look and them, yourll see it uses a relative path to the video to And yes the theme customisation is very powerfull, "almost" all settings can be put into theme.ini. In the gameex code, theme.ini kind of acts as an override.
  16. Ill have a look at this. Is it just when youve finished launching a game in a partiular set and then select another game in the set?. I mean if you go back to the start page in GameEx, then select the emu then a set, does it work?
  17. I'm pretty sure it did not come from me, but I'm doing a a hardcore scan now on my entire network just to be sure.
  18. I'm obviously doing something right if you all jump to the defence. I appreciate that guys. Thanks again for the support. Going to lock this thread now. Thanks, Tom.
  19. I run GameEx on machines running IIS, and inetinfo.exe is IIS in itself as far as know. I'd look elsewhere for the solution rather than GameEx if I were you. The only possible thing it could be remotely is GameExtender running on the same port as your web server.
  20. Actually, and I think everyone here would agree its you who are ignorant, but I can understand your obviously just a young lad. I dont delete topics or accounts if people are just giving there opinion, as long as there not abusive or upset people. Your bordering on that, but I am very tollerent and like discussion, although prefer it to be adult based even though we are all big kids here. When I say your ignorant, if youd have done a little research youd realise that MAME itself does not run on an XBOX 360, in fact theres only one emulator available anywhere that does.
  21. Thanks, sounds good. Something I really would like done, but didn't feel it right to ask the community, is a well written guide based at real newbies on setting up MAME and a generic guide on setting up an emulator with perhaps just a few examples for the most common, ZSNES, Stella etc.
  22. Great job as usual Amos.
  23. Of course I'm gonna think this is a great idea You have my full blessing, and if you want a free web account, ftp, and web space you've got it. Just drop me an email. However, I don't have enough time right now to contribute anything else other than this or answer any questions you may have. Tom
  24. The majority of us here, have our PC's connected to our TV's or arcade cabinets and not going through what in my opinion is a poor substitute such as an XBox 360. If you want to do this on a console wait a couple of years for it to be even remotely feesible, if you want help setting up GameEx on a PC, ask a question orientated around that.
  25. OK, will do. Thanks Tom
