Hey everyone, I think I found a small bug in Instant Sheller. If I load an image that is not 640x480 or 16 colors no changes are made to the system but Instant Sheller won't let you load another image. It crashes if you try. You then have to restart the computer, be welcomed to XP with none of the checked changes made, tell instant sheller to undo changes, and then restart and try again. Could this all be avoided by checking the image size and number of colors on image selection instead of when trying to apply changes? This then leads to my second question. How have some of you made custom boot screens? I want to convert my marquee to a boot screen. If I load it in paint and save as 16 colors it looks terrible but works with instant sheller. If I load it in photoshop and change the mode to 16 color indexed it looks pretty good but after I save it to a bitmap Instant Sheller rejects it saying that it is not 640x480 or 16 colors. Does anybody have any suggestions? I know how to check the image size in XP but how do I check to make sure Photoshop saved to only 16 colors? Thanks!
I installed a pair of alpine 5.25" car speakers and a 41hz Amp6-Basic amp (www.41hz.com). The amp6-Basic is awesome, but you have to be willing to solder it together. It was easy to build even though it was only the second thing I've ever soldered (1st was my keyboard encoder)! This amp has plenty of power, sounds amazing and 41Hz has a great forum too The only issue is that it doesn't have volume nob by default. It's easy to add one or you could just use the volume control in windows like I do.
The largest known prime number is actually : 2^(32,582,657)â?? 1. It has 9,808,358 digits. I don't know about this prime, but the second largest prime number, 6,320,430 digits long, took just over two years to find using a distributed network of more than 200,000 computers! I went with: KEYWiz Eco Keyboard Encoder from groovygamegear.com Horizontal Microswitch from groovygamegear.com, but are Happ made Ultimarc Mag-Stik Plus Joysticks 3" Happ trackball new from ebay
Howdy! I have a 3" Happ track ball and have noticed that having it sit in the wood shop it doesn't roll well any more. I plan on disassembling it and relubing the rollers. Has anybody done this? What did you use for lubrication? Thanks.
I've brought this up several times with no avail. I think that the jump to key ability should be a option in the config instead of a standard way of running. I would think that a lot of people are having this problem.
Iano is right, bucking magnets is the way to go. They will shield your speakers from damaging you screen and will cause no deterioration in your sound quality. partsexpress.com has reasonably prices for these.
If you are downloading from a site like http://pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/ARCADE/ that only allows you to download individual files, try the DownThemAll plugin for firefox. All you have to do is right click on the site, select DownThemAll and filter to only download the pdfs. It will then download all the pdfs in that page's directory.
