Upon making changes to the configuration via setup wizard, did you "update" while within the GameEx UI? If you did and it's still not showing, then the other thing I would suggest is to add the title into the "don't filter these ROMS" https://www.gameex.com/setup-wizard-configuration-guide/#mamesettings

You must provide your own content. What you are seeing is simply place holders to show how the interface looks.

There's nothing like the real thing baby! MAME is just a way to get there quickly, albeit with mostly subpar controls simply due to the vast range the cabinets themselves represented. With the MiSTerCade, these classics should hold up quite some time, well unless FPGA core development suddenly tanks. I think it's awesome to see these collections being maintained, and boy does it take me back. There was no feeling like the one you got being in the arcade!

Some suggestions, since it’s been a while and I recall you indicating you smoked your motherboard. Did you update? Add the game to the “Do not filter these roms” list? Use the “vector games” feature within GameEx?

Found the below at CDCruze, hope it provides some insight. demul.exe -run=naomi -rom={0} demul.exe -run=awave -rom={0} {0} is a placeholder for your ROM name. To get the correct ROM name, in DEMUL hit File > Load NAOMI or Atomiswave. In the column that says Name, that’s what needs to in place of {0}. Also do not put the full path to the ROM file, just put the ROM file name.

Has your romset been updated to match the mame 0.235 release via clrmamepro or similar?

Could be getting filtered out from one of the settings under the Advance MAME Settings. Have you tried specifically listing these titles in the "Don't filter these ROMS"
