    Ok fixed I had to exclude gameex.exe as a file instead of an application.

    I'm using Malwarebytes. I tried putting an exception in and it still flagged it. I'm going to try disabling it.

    Hi, For some reason my AV keeps detecting GameEx as ransom ware. I tried reinstalling a few times and I'm still getting the same message.

    I fixed it. I had MAME setup for admin access on windows and for some reason that was causing an issue. I'm able to scan for my MAME roms now. Thank you for all the help.

    Correct I moved the MAME theme and media from the original path to the new \themes folder. I ran the installer again and everything is working again, but when I run the update game list for MAME I get a games not found error. All the other consoles are working correctly and displaying games. log.txt GameEx.ini

    For some reason the video themes stopped showing, All the files are there and the paths are correct, 02:26:12.63 1/28/2025: Open: Failed Opening Video: c:\gameex\themes\mame\media\random video backgrounds\bak.mp4 GameEx.ini log.txt

    I was able to get it to work. I did have to copy the config files from the stand alone version of GameEx Arcade over to the C:\GameEx\CONFIG_ARCADE_EDITION. Also I was not given the option to install the MAME Bezel project. I had to copy those files over also, but I think I should be all set. I will do some testing next couple of days. Thank you!

    Hi, I'm currently running GameEx Arcade Edition 18.87. If I update to the latest version do my settings automatically move over or do I have to manually move them? Thank you!

    It's working now. I had to click into the game to see the company logo. It's showing over some of the emumovie themes. Very cool!
