  1. Did you update GameEx upon entering GamEex the first time? What is your version of MAME and does your rom set match the MAME version. You haven't provided much in the way to go on, like what version of GameEx you're running, or the support files. Your post is difficult to understand as these forums are English speaking.
  2. I don't typically post these Epic deals because they have been routinely popping up from the game launcher to remind me, but wouldn't want anyone NOT using that service to miss this one. I really enjoyed playing around with the first in this series, and evidently this one corrected many of the complaints about the first. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/star-wars-battlefront-2/home

    Brave

Have you guys tried this browser? I think you should give it a spin, it's very snappy! I'm still playing with it, but it looks like a browser built around the modern web with security features like "Brave Shields" and privacy in general in mind along other features I've never seen, i.e. "Rewards" if you choose to see privacy respecting ads....that kind of stuff. Things other browsers force upon you or make you depend on the community for are baked in. The default home page gives you a breakdown of what's been going on behind the scenes, which looks a bit similar to a stripped down version of the Pi-Hole web interface. It's worth a look IMO https://brave.com/
  6. I know I'm seemingly alone here with the excitement of possibilities this system brings, but I've stumbled upon another nice article that lends itself to getting into this side project on a budget. I expect to see the arcade cores seeing more love as MiSTer matures, proving it to be a serious contender in the retro gaming realm for not only it accuracy, but also for it's lack of dependency on Windows. http://www.cgquarterly.com/lets-build-a-basic-mister-fpga-console-part-1/
  7. Cave 68000 core is out of beta. Kudos to skeetbud for the heads up!
  8. Off with the antennas take two:
  9. Seriously though, it will be interesting to see where this thing winds up in a year. Don't make these mistakes
  10. It's okay stigz, we all have our vices! Anyway, when you pick up that deal off ebay you can really hot rod it out by plopping it in these new digs!
  11. WOW, that's pretty wild! Thanks for posting back your discovery, one to remember for sure.
  12. Does your romset match? .227 brought some big changes.

  15. Not being a JAMMA expert I'm at a bit of a disadvantage commenting here, but you do realize that JAMMA is a standardized interface that was designed to make quick work of switching out games in a JAMMA cabinet just by swapping out the PCB? If your cabinet had a JAMMA interface, harness then all you would do is plug it into the PCB. Due to this I don't see how the i-pac would ever function in this environment. The i-pac is a keyboard emulator that still may work with something like this particular PCB via one of the USB ports, but even so it has to be programmed. My i-pac was part of a custom joystick build I ordered, and arrived pre-configured due to this. I would venture to guess that yours simply hasn't been configured. https://www.ultimarc.com/control-interfaces/i-pacs/i-pac2/?selected_section=product_tab_25#product_tab_25
  16. News from Arcade Heroes Is this what became Sinistar? It's hard to say for sure without someone from the Sinistar design team chiming in, but there are definitely some similarities between it and this newly reconstructed prototype called Conquest. To quote Code Mystics, who found the ROMs and put the game up online for all to enjoy: While "very early," what is there is playable - and a little tough. You can see how close to Sinistar it is by clicking here.
  17. This is a decent introduction, well at least as to where things stood back early last year. https://nerdlypleasures.blogspot.com/2020/03/mister-mame-of-fpga-simulation-projects.html

  19. I think Felix is spot on, the community will make this thing a gem most likely. Atari is seemingly incapable of doing anything but tripping on themselves, but it does seem like they provided a powerful X86 architecture to build upon. I look forward to videos and of this system progressing. <edit> I would spring for doubles on the controller, IMO it's always a must to have at least two!
  20. Although it's been a difficult year in so many ways, I hope your holiday season is a blessed one! With many of us are playing it safe or some being told to shelter in place, it's even more reason to make the most of it if you are fortunate enough to see your family and friends this season. I for one am thankful for face-time for giving me the ability to see those that otherwise would be regulated to the phone with. If you have little ones that are special to you and/or nieces and nephews, then you know how much more entertaining it is to talk to them over face-time vs the phone
  21. I must be misunderstanding you, but that's how it's supposed to work. Are you updating following any configuration changes? Also, some items may be getting excluded due to how these settings are impacting the update.
  22. That'd be nice!
  23. I bet you've been wait a long time to say that I'm just glad you guys didn't get stiffed, and don't tell me it didn't cross your mind a time or two!
