  3. Cherry Cola is one of life's great mysteries, the fiber that weaves and networks the secrets to HDR bliss These aren't simply any off the shelf cable, no sir, you have to wait for the cargo ship to enjoy his puppy. It's in the container marked Monoprice OEM retail products.
  4. Art of Atari is part of the buy one get one 50% off deal at Amazon. Amazon Promotion
  5. Oh wow, that looks like a nice piece!
  6. geesh........ If you're going to just throw money away, at least throw it in my direction, please!
  7. I stumbled upon this in the most unusual of ways, but if this is your thing, then don't sit on the fence! These appear to be limited to remaining stock: Get 2, get free shipping and still get it for less than one anywhere else I've found so far. When I found this deal yesterday it was $49.99 at Amazon, but it appears they are matching Target. Anyway, more details and pics over on Amazon.
  8. For a moment last night while sitting in my computer chair I ignored the fact I have stacks of games I've yet to install; much less time to play, and pressed the "place order" button on Steam for Empire at War. After reading and watching several reviews I'm pretty surprised to see how this one has held up over time. I nearly bought it when it came out, but seeing the developer and community support this is still getting pushed me over the edge 15 years later. I figure I'll be able to at least hit up some campaign action every week or so and man does this thing look amazing on my triple monitor setup Perhaps this game will prove justification for actually buying three of them
  9. If your eying Empire at War Gold Pack, then grab it from Steam instead. https://www.pcgamesn.com/star-wars-empire-at-war-gold-pack/patch-notes-2021
  10. At one point I had many of the oldies, but started selling them off back in the 98SE days. I picked up Racer last year during this sale, but haven't even tried it. I will say this, go read their forums for tips about how to install it and set it up beforehand, apparently it's real picky about initial setup.

  12. Ahh, the good ole days! I recall someone turning me on to Republic Commando a long time ago now, another decent game from the prequel days like Racer.

  14. I've only had time to really skim the first fifteen or so pages, but it's a different book, in a good way. In just those few pages I noticed a good bit of pin-holing in some of the solid backgrounds, hopefully this isn't wide spread.
  15. My copy arrived in acceptable condition, although I surprised it wasn't severely damaged. It was shrink wrapped in micro-bubble pack, then placed into a box that would have held six of these books with no additional packaging. This is something I would expect from half-ass Amazon shipping methods.
  16. It will download video snaps from EmuMovies if you input your account information into the GameEx setup wizard. If you have a free account this will take longer due to the daily download limitation EmuMovies has in place for free users. Unless something has changed that I'm unaware of; and I don't think it has, then the repository here doesn't contain any of these snaps. The repository is aimed at an entirely different purpose, one mainly built around pulling down selected emulators, themes, etc. based on user made choices during the completing the setup wizard steps. Tom has been nice enough to put up some system packs to fill the need on some systems though, but these are not completist type collections.
  17. Wow, probably my age showing.
  18. Want something that's pretty rare and at the same time a unique piece? Van Burnhan (Supercade) has something you may be interested in, but it's not a book! Supercade Timeline Poster
  19. Well, I'll give T-Molding a go on the book, it looks to be a worthy addition to the original (the gutter jumps are distracting).
  20. Woah, that shipping is insane. The book looks awesome, but shipping to the US is much less than shipping to the UK, from what I've gathered from Van's book anyway. At least that's how it's been explained and some googling seems to verify subsidizing of some sort for inbound shipping to the states. Still, if it's packaged good enough to arrive completely undamaged, that in itself is worth it. So is it that much better than others you've seen? It does look like a very unique layout and composition, in a good way!
  21. I wasn't aware they released a revision, but I understand why! Have you ever ordered from T-Molding.com? Packaging on these is always a concern, and Amazon sucks at it....so I'm gun-shy of unknowns.
  22. You've got to become "one of them" in order to understand.
  23. Emergence of Chia Crypto to bring SSD and HDD drive shortages I briefly saw mention of this elsewhere, but didn't look into it. I'm tired of this crypto bullshit messing with my gaming setups!
  24. Took care of that, if you’re interested the next batch ships to the US at the end of April. Right at $38 bucks via PayPal if you’ve got a card that waives foreign transaction fees, CapitalOne and lots of AMEX cards for instance.
  25. This is one I've been meaning to pickup. Tony's blog is awesome!
