Did you configure it using the input menu in MAME? You can press tab to access the setup menu in a game.

I think you're on the right track Dan. I was particularly interested in the settings for the touchscreen in the control panel. Arcadepcnut?

So it's not possible to change the text color? That sux. Hate for anything to come out of the lab looking half assed.

You can make it include videos too though I think.

Just a couple quick questions:: 1) Can I change the font color on the media bar for the scrolling text? If so, how? Am I limited to black and white or can I use a hex code? 2) Can I change the position (or remove) the little VU meter that shows up next to my media bar controls? It doesn't sit right and the text also scrolls behind it. It doesn't look so tight that way cosmetically unfortunately. A side note:: If I could specify where the text sits that scrolls, I could tweak the topBarMiddle.png to make it look like a proper media scroller instead of just text that sorta floats wherever it wants. It sorta just comes out off the edge of MediaControls.PNG and stops at the edge of TopLeftBar.png and it really limits what I can do visually. I know that's not currently possible though it would be nice. Thanks!

It isn't too hard to create stuff from scratch if you can draw. Layers and filters seem the hardest to grasp for most folks (aside from cropping and cutting). If you can do that you're already half way there.

Well what do ya know! You guys are more business savvy than I gave you credit for! I guess it makes sense now that I think about it with the Games Database tapping EmuMovies artwork. Two of my favorite sites are roomies!

Haha! On the flip I'be been using Photoshop for over 10 years. I was nowhere near as good as you are now! My first theme disgusts me when I look back at it! Lol! Thanks for the compliment Krak. I'm more than happy to give you technique advice, but you got a pretty good handle on things already. I am also self taught (as is Draco) and we'd probably agree that doing it on your own is the best way to learn. Keep up the good work! I like the directon you're taking. It works well and looks nice without being too busy. PS: you could probably clean up your edges with a slight bevel. If you were so inclined.

For $50 it cost me, I had a sign shop do it on lexicon with the decal applied directly. How does the poster look? Clean? Nice and transparent? I still have the glass that was in my marquee, and that's a pretty sweet deal. I have a family friend that owns a print shop ... Maybe Ill do that on my jukebox project. The price is tough to beat!

Do they load a splash screen or something? For games you should set them up as am emu and use the lnk method instead. Greater flexibility and all.

Hope it's not more than $50 USD. That's the average around here.

Looks awesome! I love that disc too. I also enjoy Wolf Run. IGT slots are fun! I've spent a few bucks on Double Diamond Deluxe and Haywire at the local casino.

Hmm. Can you give me an example of one that doesn't? I launch a few proggies this way and they all work fine for me.

Perhaps it doesn't save settings in the XML file? How are you launching your programs? Lnk or directly from the exe?

Honestly I think one of us is misunderstanding a feature. I really thought that was for physical disks and not ISOs. An ISO would require a loader and a command line. DVD from disk would be a DVD that's on a disk, no? I mean it makes sense in my head but not by my rig so... Edit: Guess I,m the one who doesn't get it! Lol!

Isn't the DVD disk path supposed to be your physical DVD drive? By your description you have it pointed to a folder. At least that's how I thought it was supposed to work.

Well if it doesn't work in WMP it isn't going to work in GameEx either. You gotta have something windows related going on.
