  1. Xpadder does this. I use shift keys for all my emus to access save states and stuff. Well worth the $10. It also does mouse emulation.
  2. You using the foreground topmost setting? If yes the top layer overlays the menu bar.
  3. As do I so I have 3 folders: snaps, videos, and both mixed.
  4. Tbh this has been requested on more than one occasion. I keep a hybrid folder that contains both snaps and videos for this (and the gamercard needs the snaps no matter if you have a video for the game or not)
  5. For the first: just point your titles path at your carts and your carts path at titles, go into text/language, customize these two fields respectively (carts change to titles, etc), enable English (custom) as the language. Good to go. There's a way around damn near anything. Just gotta find it. For two: try the download service utility included in your GameEx install folder under the start menu. It does a scan, search, and rename no matter what your rom names are. And for the triple play: Turn off the page transitions under display options. Alpha paging maybe?
  6. It was never a problem for me. You're using the stock GameEx bezel? Or trying to?
  7. Ahh oops! Sorry! Lol! You mean for the control panel psd right?
  8. I use the controls layout as one static image for each system. If you point to your PNG in the Controls path for that emulator then it displays the same way the CP comes up before each MAME game.
  9. I noticed a couple flaws. In my rush to get this theme out I missed a couple emubaks. I'll be putting out an update shortly. Thanks for your patience everyone! And thanks Alpha.
  10. Mine is set to false but I did it manually.
  11. It's cool that options exist so we can do it at all. Just saying.
  12. You can do seperate layouts for the emulators bro. It's in the theme editor. Mameselectbak.PNG is for when you select a mame game, the other mame bak is for the menu lists. As is the case with any software, we do what we can with what we have.
  13. Don't quote me on this but Tom may have helped out with the com class for HS 2.0.
  14. Map files are easy. Rom name and extension, pipe, display name. Like so: Mario_Kart_64.zip|Mario Kart 64 Nothing to it. Just point the rom folder at the folder your roms are in and only the files listed in the map file will show in the list.
  15. Start...Programs...GameEx...Utilities...Log File.
  16. You don't even have to split up your roms if you use a map file for each emulator. Groups are certainly the best way to handle this.
  17. Lol! Yeah, you could say that. The first is a frequently mentioned feature request. I can see custom text alignment being a good recommendation too. I seem to recall Tom talking about improved themeing options in the works. Hopefully these improvements will come with that 'upgrade' along with being able to utilize layer settings for objects, as well as the ability to have a TTF in the theme folder instead of having to install it. And your smart stretching request. If I didn't mention it, it's nice to see prolific themers among us. A belated welcome to the forums. Happy to help you with anything I can.
  18. Its both depending on how you look at these things.
  19. Personally I don't see any advantage to having it anywhere besides the top layer. It's not like selector bars and videos. But who am I to say that.
  20. Anytime, and welcome to the forums!
  21. That's simple. I'll up an ini for you to use. It's because of the positioning in the theme itself. Find and replace this line in the theme.ini: Description=4,634,935,302 Save it and you should be golden.
  22. Here ya go! ::Exit GameEx, Kill Xpadder @echo off ::Let's start in the right drive! F: ::Kill Xpadder please cd "F:\xpadder\" start "" Xpadder.exe /C :: EoF You'll have to make some changes for your path of course. As with any bat file, you could easily add in another command line to close xbmc and both will run on execution.
  23. Sorry to bark about things again, but it seems the weather falls behind my topmost layer in my theme. Since it's optional anyways, can we have either a setting to make it appear over the topmost layer or could you just move it to the top layer? I don't really see the benefit in having this skinned over top of. Thanks!
  24. It shouldn't, mine is always on... Edit: I just looked at my snaps and you're right. Why would it do that? I'll take a look and update the theme.ini when I figure it out. Edit 2: Is this a topmost problem? Can someone test? Edit #3: Guess it's because of the Foreground_Topmost setting. I'll post about it and see if we can get that fixed.
  25. I can just post a copy of my bat file if you like. But yes I put the command prompt in xpadder's root first.
