Actually it was three: Zelda Adventure, The Faces of Evil, and The Wand of Gamelon. And yes all three were shitty. Somehow someone greenlighted all three of these massive turds that I as a huge fan of the series don't even acknowledge. I have spent some time on Faces and the Wand titles at a friend's and may play them again someday (the cutscenes were actually cool), but as I recall Adventure got thrashed by every reviewer ever. Not even interested in trying it out. Much like me being a huuuge Mario fan and refusing to admit they made a movie. It never happened. Seriously!

Heh yeah I just noticed I had mine pointed at the marquee folder on purpose. Lol! My fault. It's been a minute since I had to make changes to anything MAME related besides updating the exe. You should update the bug thread for Setup Wizard with that find so it gets fixed. Mine carried over from the oldschool way (advanced configuration). Good spot Krak!

Bummer. Yeah I noticed on my cab but it's hard to see in my theme unless I look close. If it really is rendering the video twice, its definitely a bug that consumes extra CPU unnecessarily and probably needs to be addressed.

Hey Krak! I unfortunately don't need this app now that you can point GameExtender at the appropriate artwork folder you want to use. It's in the emulator advanced settings. Just tell GameEx where you want it to look for the artwork you want to display. In Future Pinball settings there is a setting to display the backglass on the secondary monitor. You shouldn't need to get GameRx involved at all to make it work. In Visual Pinball though, you need to find the post where someone gave me the DLL for multiple monitors and hand set the DMD in the backglass for each table. There is a way to use active backglass too, but I haven't tried setting it up yet. Hope that helps! PS: I use MAME mapping magician to send second screen games to the second monitor. Especially useful for PC10 and Punch Out among others. Edit: Oh man. I didn't notice before but you can't specify which folder GameExtender uses for MAME. That should be changed! I'll +1 it if you make a thread.

Sure! Do you use Xpadder? The advance keys are 'shift' functions in Xpadder and they work really well. No need for shortcuts when they're mapped to secondary functions on your controller. Thanks for the props by the way... I'll up the ones I have done.

Can you get on gamesdbase.com at all?

If it is true and there is, I've never set them, so that would explain the mouse cursor on my machine. I navigate with the trackball though so I use the pointer.

So you can't even browse to it? Blacklisted?

My mouse always shows on startup though whether I have the controller on or not. I think there's a proggy out there to hide the mouse.

So if I had a similar setup couldn't I just map a drive full of roms and art and just serve it all over the house? Or is this not such a good idea? Run GameEx on the cab and keep like a 500GB on it for system files and emus, and keep everything else on the server?

I have an idea about it... try disabling the foreground topmost setting and see if it still does it. It never did it before this feature was added, maybe my hunch is correct.

Honestly its either a path issue or an extension issue. They're in PNG or JPEG right? Can you up a sample? You sure the naming matches the ROM name?

That's definitely the issue. You'll have to address that first.

Use MAME for ZiNc roms. The emulator is not needed anymore. Besides providing no real benefits, it's a PITA to set up. MAME ZN emulation is fully playable now.

Hmm. I haven't noticed but I think I know what you mean. It looks like an oldschool 3D effect where a box has another box behind it and looks like a drop shadow kinda right?

It says Direct3D Not Available in your dxdiag. GameEx uses Direct3D for its rendering.

I think you'll still hit this problem though. The text is top aligned to the bar (or it looks to be anyway) .
