+1 for CP Wizard. It's awesome, not a beast to get going, and works natively with GameEx. PS: Good choice on that xarcade setup. They got great stuff over there.
As they should. Keeps people happy, right? It's really too bad that theres not more people putting stuff out. I mean we can't all be Drac, but it would be nice to see more people interested. The contest is starting out awfully slow.
Thats awesome! I get my parts from a guy that does the same thing.... They supply arcade and vending machines to the Wisconsin Dells (which is like a mini Vegas with indoor water parks and themed hotels). The company he works for scraps them also... They buy full kits for their games and have no need for the old ones. Its awesome that theyre so willing to give! I've been trying to get him to part with a juke that plays 45s for my 80s collection.
Youre right. Wed need a model and then front back and sides of the box art. You can try and mock up a model in Google Sketch-Up though. These can be made to work with GameEx. Devote a lot of time to it though. If the box art you have is the same as EmuMovies has, you won't be able to do that on this alone.
I have to agree. I'd rather keep stuff I'm gonna use myself. Never had a situation come up where I wished I'd installed xxx emulator. My list is like 29 emus or so and those are whittled down to USA sets, and it suits me just fine. /end my opinion @bknobi: those ratings you speak of are also in the popup description box if you have it enabled.
Just a taste of the new theme I'm working on... No emubaks or anything (I'll probably make a few just for the emus on my cab... I have a tasty idea for them. I'll post an example later). I guess I made this to match my cab and controller layouts. It'll probably be forever before I finally finish up. Not like I can enter my own contest anyways! LOL!
That's bizarre as I don't have this problem on mine... The back bounding box the text goes over top of seems to extend to either edge of the screen for me.
