  1. Can't wait to see the Triforce driver emulated in MAME!!! Ohhh man! I played Mario Kart Arcade GP and F-Zero AX at Chuck E Cheese's and it was AWESOME! LOL! It cool when the kids there are getting pissy because you won't give them a turn! Read about it here!!! Share in my excitement to see they're working on it in the latest U build of MAME!
  2. Thanks Tom! I admittedly didn't know if the mobo settings were involved or not.
  3. The flags come up if your rom sets are 7-zipped and then only if they are in goodname format. (U), (E), etc. notplayed.PNG is the not yet played icon.
  4. I was referring to the icon that shows when you mouse over the list in GameEx. Not sure if that's what you were asking or not.
  5. The icon for MAWS and user favorites is live.PNG just so ya know.
  6. Did you make the change in the BIOS to allow for shutting down the machine via keyboard?
  7. If it gets granted, I'll be the first to implement it in my theme with an update! Just saying! LOL!!!
  8. Hi Dennis: I had a similar problem a while back. It's an easy fix. What language are you using? If you're using English, just make a copy of your SetupWizard.xml and rename it to SetupWizard_en.xml ... The folder is located in C:>GameEx>CONFIG unless you changed the install path. Hope that helps!
  9. They'll get overwritten though everytime you update, they are not able to be customized on a per-theme basis (yet). You can replace them in the folder Drac mentioned.
  10. Actually Krak getting it to work in GameEx is the easy part. You won't need a video for that.
  11. Nah. Blockbuster already got smart. They hooked up with Dish Network and have a bunch of 'red box' knockoffs. They don't need any 'help' right this minute. Lol!
  12. I thought it was funny they were trying to re-organize and call it two different companies. Wonder what idiot move they'll make next?
  13. You're doing it wrong... If you go into 'input settings' in the zsnes GUI you can press the box to configure the buttons in sequence, then you press the button the on-screen prompt asks you to assign. Example: the box says 'press button to use for A' and you press the button you want to use for 'A'. Select the #2 tab and do it again for player 2, then #3 for player 3, etc.
  14. So zsnes is or isn't detecting your key presses?
  15. I can confirm this. Does this also when you try to add a static image instead of a folder.
  16. Lol! That looks great! Grab the pencil tool and throw on some hairline cracks!
  17. I always try to quit my emus gracefully if I can. Mapping just kills the process right? What about emus that don't back up the SRAM until the emu exits? Although afaik you can change this setting in most emus, if not all of them.
  18. Thanks pojosama! Glad you like it!
  19. So for these keys in advanced configuration to be sent you set them up and then set the global escape hook? Example: I need to send Alt+X to close Nestopia. So I set up the combo in the global exit section of input settings. Then I enable the advanced configuration with %{X} in it. Now when I press my predefined combo it sends ALT-X to close it? Or does it just kill the process and return to GameEx? The GameEx website documentation doesn't mention the global escape option at all.
  20. That may not be the combo either. You'd have to check the readme to be sure. I'm going to be switching to global escape too. It just makes sense to use one combo for everything. Hopefully it goes smoothly. Documentation on this feature is pretty sparse. Feel free to report back with your results if you do decide to go that route.
  21. Lol! I'm famous! Looks great Simba! It's dramatic and I am really digging the cast!

Even though they gave Mario Hotel a C+, for some reason I feel compelled to try it out. I'm a sucker for puzzle games! Of course they can't all be Super Puzzle Fighter. I've come to terms with that. Lol!
  23. They need an advanced configuration to send the key combo each emulator uses to exit. I think PJ64 uses ALT+F4 but not sure offhand. So in this example you would check the box that says "map escape" and in the field that says "keys to send on exit" you would put in %{F4}. No idea what JNES uses, I use Nestopia as per NonMESS suggestion. Make sure also that you don't have the global escape setting turned on under input settings. Using that fubars your exit combos I'm pretty sure.
  24. You could put a spinner in that hole... Groovy Game Gear has one that fits the standard cutout and uses a USB connection.
  25. You don't select the foreground starbuck. For atari 2600, you would select Back-Atari_2600.png The foreground is applied by GameEx. Also make sure you downloaded the updated version of the theme on the first page (if you haven't already done so). I also uploaded the controller images that go with the theme and put them in the first post.
