  1. I personally just used the default buttons as a guide and overlayed my own buttons that I drew up, and finally deleted the original layer. Independent button controls would be cool, but this method worked out fine for me.
  2. I only recently redid my sets and kept the EmuMovies folder structure, so I wouldn't know if it was not like this before.
  3. 2 well placed shift buttons opens up a lot of possibilities though... It might end up looking something like this! http://tinyurl.com/2ajep9d
  4. ^^great idea!
  5. I'll pass you the layer if you like...
  6. Han: Updates are available in one of those categories. It only lists the categories for systems you have if you select that option. Case in poit: Atari Lynx may have a few new box snaps, but the pull-down still shows every system I downloaded art for, and if the only update is in Lynx that's the only one that will have assets. I think.
  7. Nope. It uses the toolbar's negative space. The toolbar is locked to the top afaik.
  8. Simple enough to fix. It shouldn't be long.
  9. -[no]use_overlays / -[no]overlay Enables/disables the display of overlays. The default is ON (-use_overlays). http://tinyurl.com/czhj45v
  10. Hi there! You should be able to build your game list through GameEx. If you select "Verify" under the MAME options in GameEx, it will only show the games you have (provided they pass MAME's check). The program you speak of is for users who have manually filtered games out in the GameEx list and want to delete them from their HDD, If you hand picked your set you won't need this application. Welcome to the fam! We're always gentle!
  11. ROFL! /insert rim shot... "But seriously folks..."
  12. You got me on that one Han. I ue a similar setup and I'm not seeing the issues you are with physics. What's one of the tables you're seeing it real bad on?
  13. These are great starbuck! If you *really* wanted to mash it up... Expand your overlay bricks about 50 px wide and high over your target size, and center that layer on top. Select a square outside the loading logos you made, feather it, and erase the middle out of it. Then add a nice bevel inward effect and apply it to the top layer. The edges of the page stay crisp, and your "cutouts" are the same as mine on the overlay for the theme. Drac may be able to help you achieve this in GIMP (I use PS). They're great this way, don't get me wrong... Just thought you might want a softer edge on your cutouts.
  14. You sure you're using tables for your specific version?
  15. Haven't tried Castro's wrapper but agree with NullPointer on the quality of his work. I use Tempest's launcher though and it works great.
  16. All due respect he shouldn't have to go to those lengths. You lose some display functionality that way.
  17. Wow cool! I didn't know that. You can try and delete any files that have the word cache in them from the data folder and force another rebuild if you haven't already, or just move the emu to a different spot via setup wizard.
  18. Hi! First off excellent choice of theme! 2nd, your ini shows all your external programs are disabled. Tell me a little about what you're trying to do and how you're doing it. Ill do what I can to assist. Edit: whoops I misread. Sorry.
  19. I use my license on a dev machine and my cabinet. Its Toms call but what you're doing isn't all that uncommon.
  20. How the hell did that work?
  21. Just for the sake of argument... When you deleted the MAP file, you removed the reference to it too in GameEx's Advanced Emulator Setup, right?
  22. Sure. Happy to be of service.
  23. Oh great! Just what I need, more images to customize! LOL! You should share your set Starbuck! Especially since I just happen to use that theme. And here's the pattern I use in it if you wanted to be a purist about it:
