You're using the global hook? I have my advance emu set to use either ALT X or CTRL X (can't remember which offhand) to exit. The shortcut is in the nestopia pull down menu. Pretty sure its ALT X though.

Custom Menus shouldn't matter (except maybe in a few obscure situations). It should still work... I assume you're saying you set it to that theme and it reverts to GameEx's default theme? We'll get to the bottom of this.

If I had to guess it's size locked. Try resizing it to match the one in the default theme folder and see if it shows up?

All due respect, you're nit picking. Its like saying you won't drive a Chevy Caprice since it doesn't run on diesel, so screw the chance to win one unless the do it your way. Obviously you aren't gonna be able to get every single thing the way you want it but if you had the ambition you would make due with what's available instead of pointing out what's not. There is plenty of documentation for the theme editor all over the forum, not to mention lurking themers willing to help. If anything your themeing abilities are greater than the flexibility so why not even try? /my 2c.

Looks pimpin'! Only thing I can think to suggest is LED strips instead of rope lighting. They make rad under-cabinet lighting that would really add for a nice finished look.
