  1. Good to see ya, friend! I hope you are well on the mend!
  2. Run it by your better half and if it is truly well said, you won't end up with a goose-egg on your head if she takes the frying pan to you!
  3. "We are Anonymous. We believe in fair and open Internet, unless you piss us off. We will become like the monster we seek to destroy and then the Internet is off limits to you. We know there will be collateral damage and the sheep that you amass will bleat with dismay. We are your Judge. We are your Trial. We are your Jury. We are your Jailer. We are Anonymous." puh-Lease! I have no problem with protest but when one group decides it has the right to represent my interest without my consent and take something away that I enjoy, then what makes them any different than those they protest?
  4. Have you tried deleting the cached dbs and letting GameEx rebuild?
  5. Nah, got one already and she is great! Would probably be finished with the latest logo pack by now but trying to seek a little more balance and spending less time on the PC and more time doing things with her. You know how that goes!
  6. Well, gotta keep the suspense up, eh? Patience! I will be releasing the pack very, very soon!
  7. A little fun with CAPCOM and SNK
  8. If I didn't know better I would say that is the real deal! Very good work!
  9. No matter how mad your masking skilz, there is always a chance of getting paint or clear coat down around your buttons or into your switches and if you do, then you are hosed. If you can get the button dimensions used in the system you are considering, you may find buttons that will replace them. Of course, there are other alternatives such as XGaming's Xarcade tank stick which, for $200 is not too shabby and you get arcade grade sticks and buttons.
  10. ThumB - can you submit your complete log file post crash and your gameex.ini file (will need to save as a txt file if you upload the ini file). Thanks!
  11. True enough! I thought about going with just the Parental Advisory warning, but, WTH, after what I have seen on the "Live!" site, took a little inspiration and decided to gal it out a little.
  12. I would caution strongly against painting as it will wear off over time. As for replacing them with buttons for mame cabinets, could not tell you. It is possible that they are proprietary and not arcade-grade or sized.
  13. WARNING! EXPLICIT ANIMATED CONTENT!!!
  14. Here are a few from the FB Alpha (Mortal Kombat characters) and Atomiswave (Metal Slug 6 Characters). Anyone know what system SoulCalibur/SoulCalibur 2 were on?
  15. That's one heckofa flight deck you have there. Will it be doubling as a workstation? Do you have to have gate clearance form the control tower before booting it up for take-off?
  16. A little tinkering with Daphne and Scumm VM logos...
  17. While still working on the rest of the logo pack, thought I would venture on a bit of whimsy upon finding this actual emulator machine that emulates 8 different systems and comes with a built-in projection system...
  18. I do not have experience with this but I believe that the other gurus and a few users (GoTheBunnies comes to mind as one making a multi-side cocktail cab) may be able to help.I would start with these two threads here and here.
  19. If you can't find the guts to restore it to the "Choice" format, you could install two micro atx systems and set it up with independent stations on each side. That way, two people can play their own games - one on each side, or, with Client/Server MAME or MESS can play vs. one another. For sound, could install ear phone jacks so they could use head sets to not inerfere with one another while playing two different games (of course, if you have an extgernal speaker for each, when in attract mode, would have your ambient arcade sounds due to different demos going on each side).
  20. Warms the cockles of my heart to see my theme in use and enjoyed! The transition from WMC to GameEx is almost seemless with the theme. Have you looked at the last logo pack I compiled? I really think it would set off the Brokeh Theme nicely. Of course, I am compiling yet another logo pack with the option to select from straight system logos or the system logos with console images and that will be my swan song for quite a while for logos.
  21. The only other option that nobody mentioned is running MAME as a separate emulator (the same as you would setup for an N64 or other emu) instead of through the GameEx Basic MAME and Advanced MAME settings.
  22. I would defnitely put in a value in the Wait Before Keys section for the emulator. Maybe start with 2000 (I believe this setting is in milliseconds but if I am wrong, someone please correct me!) and see if that resolves some of the difficulties you are encountering. Also make sure you have the latest DirectX installed.
  23. You're welcome Traffik! We'll mark this as resolved then and Welcome to the Forum!
