To All - As you know I am working on another theme. I am also revamping some of the logos from the most recent packs. If you have any good logos (no drop shadows, vector preferred when possible, the larger the better for scaling) and/or system images, please share them here!
I think it is a good idea - as of late with all the updates from both Tom and Circo, the forum is starting to balloon like my email spam folder! The only thing I am not seeing here are the "enlargement" and "discreet singles dating" ads.
Tom - it appears you are correct! I went into the nVidia 3D settings and added GameEx to the applications list and there was a setting for V-Synch so I forced V-Synch On and rebooted GameEx and the scroll bar is much more legible. Thanks for the tip!
I had it set to "Do Wait" and changed it to "Do not Wait" and this did slow it down a little but still a bit too fast. I also noticed that it would slow a little more whenever a video preview snap was displayed and speed up when a static snap or no snap displayed.
I just booted up GameeEx and it appears that the scroller (and refresh of the selector bars) are too fast. I have a 22" monitor and I am unable read the scroll because of the speed. It may not be as much of an issue for larger television displays but I can see an issue with smaller sets and PC monitors. If there was an external setting through Setup Wizard to select scroll speeds: Slow - Normal - Fast would be extremely helpful.

Adultery is correct, up until this most recent updates mine was loading full screen as well. I am fine with that, since there is still the gameextext.png that flashes at the beginning and it seemed a little redundant.
Thanks, Tom! Updating now and confirming the elements mentioned previously are displaying properly. EDIT - The dialog.png now shows when attempting any updates. The gameexisloading.png no longer displays at all. I confirmed that Show Loading Screen is enabled.
The dialog.png is the media element that is invoked when an update is available prompt occurs. The GameExLogo.png (not .txt) displays after the loading image.
Thanks, Tom! Look forward to skinning! I am able to workaround the foreground/text issues for now (just pushing my creativity a bit which isn't a bad thing.. ). I did find a few errors in display that you will probably want to address. I noticed that the gameexis loading.png is and pleasewait.png files load over the foreground image - this is good. GameExLogo.png and dialog.png are popping behind the foreground image - not so good. I will report back with any other issues I come across.
Actually, Starbuck,, you can have different screens per emulated system, external applications, etc. through the use of Custom Menus and/or within Theme Editor for each system you have installed. Doubtful it would ever occur on a per game basis.
