  1. Anything for you, my friend! LOL!
  2. @Krakerman - U64
  3. Yeah, my son pointed that out to me about the SNES.. will probably post a correction to that soon along with additions of U64 and AAE. EDIT - AAE seems to be lacking in good, clean logos to work with. IF you can come up with something from a screen capture that might be useable that would be awesome.
  4. Mine is just next month, the start of my last year as a 40-sumpin. Just looking forward to spending time with the miss-us. Will probably be moving office stuff into the bedroom that my son will be vacating to move to CA to be with his girlfriend.
  5. Thanks, Tom! Will be giving this a go real soon!
  6. Could it be an issue with the diff file that was used to compile MAME? Or the config that is generated?
  7. I can't lay claim to that adding the waves... This was done by someone a few years back and I borrowed the image to make the logo.
  8. I am probably not the one to ask as I have yet to install or use Visual Pinball, but I believe that many use Visual PinMAME to manage Visual Pinball. That said, I will let the other GameEx "Gods and Gurus" step in and guide!
  9. You aren't on a dark path, just simply on a path to enlightenment and increasing your knowledge of MAME! The easiest way to compile is using Headkaze's Mame Compiler - follow the instructions to the letter. You will probably need to use the version of the compiler linked under the Older Versions of MAME section. Next, you will need to locate the diff file that Minwah created and the hiscore.txt file for the version he wrote the diff file for (MAME 0.125) in addition to the MAME 0.125 source file(and not Minwah's compiled version). Not sure if this will even work for you as I am not aware if there were any mods made by Minwah to the source file. I would also encourage you to backup the contents of your ShifterMAME directory before testing your compiled build in the event you need to revert back to the original.
  10. @Mesk - Thanks! I still hate you BTW.
  11. The next theme will be less arcade or game oriented. It will be a much simpler theme visually than "Sins of a Solar Empire" in that it will not have so many visual elements at play across the screen. It will be a V4 theme using some Chinese elements (wood, characters) with some simple modern flourishes (brushed metal framing) and will be an homage to the great Bruce Lee Kung-Fu fighting flick "Enter the Dragon." Since my handle is also a reference to dragons, I thought it fitting as my last theme (for a while at least). .:.EDIT - Here is a "quick" mock-up of the theme. Going from Left to Right, Top to Bottom; LT Frame Logos, RT List Menu/ROM descriptions, LB FrameSnaps/Vid Snaps, RB Weather Icon, Date & Time, RSS scroll.
  12. Best to PM him - he has been good about sharing in the past if he is at a stage that he is comfortable with sharing.
  13. A few more quick creations... and NOW there is a kitchen sink!
  14. It's in LOGO PACK#2... look again!
  15. Thanks! Review the logos in thumbnail view and you will find the logos for Boxee, Pandora Radio, Handheld Simulators, Nebula, and WinKawaks. I will consider the others as time permits. In the meantime, here is your PC!
  16. Filed under _Logo__Pandora.png ... and since you are not going anywhere, try these on for size!
  17. They do look sweet on your display! I did do good! LOL! I will see what I can knock up for Rhapsody and Beats of Rage. May be a few days as I am working on details for another theme at the moment [queue Rocky the Flying Squirrel in 3... 2.. 1... "Not AGAAAIIIIN!"] as well as playing house hubby while posting the resume online, etc.
  18. There should be one for Windows Games (_PC__GFW.png) with the Games for Windows logo, and 1 each for Visual Pinball (_Pinball__Visual_Pinball.png) & Future Pinball (_Pinball__Future_Pinball.png) included in LOGO PACK #3. Would love to see some pics as they appear on the screen!
  19. The problem is that minwah had modified the MAME source file. If there was a copy of a current source file with his mods, likely could compile that with the hi-score diff files to possibly make hi scores work with it. Since it does not appear that there is anything current to work with, I don't see much happening with your request. I noticed you have been at this for some time on the otther forums. Did you ever obtain a copy of the MAME 0.125 Source file and try compiling it with minwah's shiftermame diff file?
  20. That was the odd thing, Massop did not insert spaces. Not sure how they got there.
  21. Do you have another PC with enough storage space to backup your current setup? I ask as there is the Easy Transfer utility that I used that allowed me to upgrade from Vista 32-bit Home to Windows 7 64-bit and backup whatever I needed to to a drive on another PC. It allows you to save most settings and accounts as well, however, you will likely have to reinstall a few things as some will require the 64-bit version on a 64-bit OS (Shark 007 codecs comes to mind here for one).
  22. Do you have Karaoke Play Mode set to "Clicking Song Queues Them" or "1 Click To Play Any Song?" I also noted in the video the user is apparently using a custom menu setup - not sure that this would have an impact on the app. Either way, you may still have to click - would be interesting to find out from the user that created the video how they set it up. Have you attempted to contact him through YouTube?
  23. Karaoke is a registered version feature as shown here. You can purchase a registered version (no nag screen and enhanced features - go here for purchase information. Setup for the Karaoke feature is pretty simple - if you have the files supported, you merely access the Karoake section of the configuration, set the path to your karaoke files and the behavior of clicking to queue or play the file. If you are looking for a good frontend that allows you to play games through some of the best emulators, HTPC integration with Windows Media Center, watch videos, or, Karaoke, and support forums and members second to none, then I heartily recommend paying for a registered copy!
  24. Maybe PM him? He still frequents the forum although I have not seen any recent posts. I am sure if he has completed the theme he will be quite willing to share with the community!
  25. Maybe I am not reading what you are saying correctly. Have you looked at the Custom Menus application that downloads with GameEx? You can do exactly what you are suggesting: MAME MESS Etc. You can even subdivide that just a little further by emulated system within the emulator menu item. Take a look at the app and give it a try!
