  1. Ouch - I do feel your pain and I don't even have a cab yet. Hopefully the new monitor will exceed the expectations for the one it will replace!
  2. I'll be good, at least to me. It isn't what most would consider as an arcade theme but I think it will lend itself nicely to an HTPC theme especially since it has both music and movie ties.
  3. Just a little teaser about my next theme... It is actually something that has been on/off and in the works for a while. Since it is something that I have enjoyed for many years since my teens, I have wanted to take time to make it just right. Other themes have felt forced at times to get to completion. This one will be ready when it is ready.
  4. "We're no strangers to love You know the rules ... and so do I A full commitment's what I'm ... thinkin' of You wouldn't get this from any other guy I just wanna tell you how I'm feeling Gotta make you ... understand..."
  5. You may want to read the information about Super Model 0.2a. While it is better, still has a way to go before being considered out of beta.
  6. Just thought I would share a little something I created, starting with a tutorial I found here. Took me roughly 20 - 30 mins to flesh out the details I wanted. Behold.. Planet GIMP! Also toyed with adding some TIE fighters... obviously will need to work on how to add motion effects, phaser cannon fire, etc.
  7. I have noticed that the date tends to be truncated if used close to a margin. This limits placement within themes of the date field. As you can see in the image, the last part of the date is missing, but there is plenty of screen real estate available for a complete date, even using a larger font. Let me know if you require anything else. This is using my latest Hexed theme. This issue is also what triggered one of my more recent Feature Requests to allow the user to select a date format (Verbose which we have, US Long - 09/25/2011, US Short - 9/25/11, US/Euro Very Short - 9/25, or Euro Long - 2011/09/25, Euro Short - 11/9/25). Thanks!
  8. Correct you are. You illustrated perfectly about justification of the image. If an image or text is "left-justified" then the image will be moved to the left of center to its margin, "right-justified" towards the right margin. Currently, the images are side-by-side, but both are "centered" within their individual margins. This is what causes the "gap" between them that you see.
  9. Thanks, Tom!
  10. I agree it would look better. If I understand what you are saying, you would prefer to see the Left Image right-justified and the Right Image left-justified so that they will come together at the margins in the middle. At present, it appears that the images are center-justified. It may be possible but much depends on the flexibility of the program Tom is using to render these images. If the images are not scanned well, there is always the possibility that there may be some gap showing.
  11. Can you be more specific as to the theme(s) or graphic element(s) to which you are referring? Have you attempted to create a theme or graphics to use with GameEx? You made a similar post back in January yet offered little information. Is your issue with the rendering of the selector bars used to highlight text, error dialogues and the like?
  12. LOL! Welcome back, my friend! We need a little crazy to keep it interesting! BTW, even though the name changes as post totals goes up by default, you can change that in your profile settings to read whatever ya want (keeping it clean, of course).
  13. I just clicked on each one a bunch of times until I got to the green one and he lost his head! LOL!
  14. Awesome update! Thanks to both!
  15. PDF tends to be a resource hog (blame it on Adobe). All most comic books are is jpgs in an orderly naming series. If you zip them as cbz or cbr, then they can be read sequentially. @Null - I am loving ComicRack, BTW. It has been ages since I really enjoyed a good comic book. It's a bit ironic how we have become so complex in our hobbies to enjoy the simple things.that used to entertain us for hours.
  16. I am really impressed with ComicReader and have added it to my group of programs. Can't wait to relive The Amazing Spider-Man from the beginning... and Fantastic FOur, and X-Men, and Thor, and Iron Man, and... and....!
  17. Just a quick FYI - the eBook reader can read .cbr,. .cbz, and does a pretty decent job. As noted before in a few other threads, there is interest in being able to read two pages side-by-side which would be a nice enhancement
  18. I've got lots of bits, blade sharpening tool, flexible extender. Got bits for grinding, cutting, sanding, burnishing. If I use 1/10 of it in my remaining lifetime I will be amazed.
  19. Are there any errors occuring? I assume you are using the Attract Mode screensaver.
  20. Happy b-day!!!
  21. Awesome! Now all you need is a dremmel... Buahhhhahhahhahhahaha!
  22. Well, I would keep in mind that Advance MAME has not been under active support in quite a while. MAMEUIFX, while a derivative build of MAMEUI, maintains current support from its programmers.
  23. That is great news! I will mark this as resolved, however, let us know if we can be of help as you get things setup!
  24. My experience has been that if the program is programmed for Dolby 5.1 sound, even though you have 7.1, only 5.1 will work. If standard 2 speaker - no matter your system max, the program will only play sound for the max format it is programmed. Likewise, if you only have two speakers and the program uses Dolby 7.1, your PC is going to down-convert the sound to yoru two speaker setup.. I wish it would make 5 more speakers and a subwoofer magically appear, but alas... If the games have the ability to use those options, not entirely sure what to tell you if the settings are not saving as resolution for one may not work for th eother. I would check to see if there are any Read Only restrictions on the game's folders and contents.
  25. Pretty much launch the program - like some of the emus, you may have to configure the app outside of GameEx.
