  1. You could create an image file and each emulator has options to enable for custom artwork paths. So long as the image is named the same as the ROM and is in that custom artwork path, you will be able to see it.
  2. +1 for OpenOffice! A Great, FREE alternative to the MS products.
  3. To be honest I do not think it supports it directly. You would likely need to use Xpadder or a similar program in order to configure mouse inputs to work with it based on the various forums I "Googled."
  4. Great, a racing game with a built-in rumble pack that won't get the stains out unless I complete the circuit in 01:30:59 or better.
  5. Thanks! Pink Floyd has always been my favorite classic rock bands and The Wall is my favorite album.
  6. Alpha - The files with the .x extension are the 3-D Cab images that have been converted from Google Sketch-up (see the collection I found by Gozer) and a few other sources. Duke - Upon reading the posts it appears that he is looking to make these animated via a .swf format (Adobe ShockWave). Basically animated Flash files.
  7. Since I am not Tom, I cannot say within the context of GameEx. I know that there have been many that like this idea since it was initially requested. IF it is doable, then I think it would make for a nice addition to the program functionality.
  8. Thanks! Welcome to... me!
  9. While working a new theme utilizing the foreground top-most settings, I have noticed that, no matter how far right on the X coordinate I place the start of the menu bar, it defaults to the same location. I know that the text options displayed is dynamic relative to where in GameEx you are (Start, vs MAME or Emu), but regardless, we should be able to place the bar where we need it and regardless of the length of the bar, the text options should scroll forwards and backwards within the length of the bar selected for one's theme. EDIT - Attempted to send screen capture but keep getting "Error No file was selected for upload" errors when using classic uploader and "upload failed" errors when using Flash uploader. This is occurring in both IE and Firefox
  10. The MAWS and GameEx Live list options under MAME already does this at least for MAME. Would be a nice feature to be enabled/disabled for each emulator// The caveat being if you do not have the ROM, the game will not appear in your "list" for such a feature. Now there's an idea - why doesn't someone put in a Feature Request under the pinned topic!
  11. I am marking this one as gloriously [RESOLVED]! 12.15 page justification on the two page view looks really nice!
  12. Tom is pretty good about implementing requests that are within reason and are doable. We have to keep in mind that, like us, he is a hobbyist and this frontend software was a result of this hobby for him. Some features are fairly easy to implement for him, while others are more complicated and take time. Only he can tell us how such a feature would fall within the scheme of things that are GameEx. If you puruse the NEWS articles you will see that development of the software is frequent and not just with bug fixes.
  13. Confirmed the date alignment issue appears fixed as does the Alert bar issue! eComics look like a regular comic opened up when viewed 2 pages side by side! Great work and nothing Trivial that I can see. Sometimes it is the little things that can make something spectacular not so much or make something so-so really shine!
  14. This has been submitted previously as a Feature Request to allow for creating a per Emu Favorites or custom Play Lists.
  15. This question for game-specific background/foreground images has been gone over at length in a few other threads for which I believe a Feature Request has also been placed. Themes have no bearing on this type of functionality (since it does not exist).
  16. I am really liking your theme! It is very clean, simple, colorful without being gaudy. The reverse bevel on the image windows and list window is a nice touch - adds a little dimension to what would otherwise be a flat surface. The headers and footers look great as well!
  17. Awesome! Can't wait to update tonight! Thanks Tom!
  18. I have used it with both Vista x86 and 7 x64 and have had fewer problems OS related to be quite honest.
  19. At what resolution? This occured for me with a 1920 x1200 theme (max res for the monitor is 1680 x 1050 so scales down) and maybe this is the issue, but have not seen it occur before.
  20. I have discovered a bug of sorts and will provide screen shots as needed when I get home from work tonight. When pressing the Play, Next Track or Previous Track buttons, the display at the bottom of the screen does not extend to the very beginning of the words as they temporarily display. Not sure if this is an issue when using wide screen formats or what. On themes with lighter background images, the bar behind the words aligns with the start of the second letter, giving appearance that the first letter is missing when against a white or very light background.
  21. When it comes time to lose some fingers to the table saw, er, um, build my own cab, I will have to keep this in mind! Initially my concern was how much the acrylic weighs compared to the OEM trackball? I am sure there are some weight limitations as the additional mass would put wear on the rollers outside of design tolerances and wear-down/break easier. On further review of the juggling balls they should be alright, maybe even a little lighter (which may be a different obstacle to overcome) but since I don't have one will have to live vicariously through your experiences!
  22. To be honest there may even be limits to the amount of data you can put into a spoiler! I think I will stop at about 30 total systems if not less. With so many things needing updates, etc., I want to have some time to actually play a few games once in a while!
  23. Looking pretty good, Krake! The only problem I might have with this image as representative of Interactive Fiction is that it is brand exclusive to Infocom games and does cover the SAGA and other adventures that came out in the same format. Otherwise, looking pretty good!
