  1. As usual please provide a copy of your gameex.ini so we can take a look at your settings - thanks!
  2. Hi arckex and welcome to the forum! If you don't mind, could you tell us what game pads you are using for your configuration?
  3. After some further tinkering, I have decided to emphasize the PCB schematic just a touch and also will create the logos with a slight transparency. I think it pops a bit better and adds more depth.
  4. Cool deal! For any video snaps, be sure to check the forums regarding the .mp4 formats being used so that your contributions are consistent with the standards they have established. I am sure Circo will be appreciative of any contributions you make towards that end and the GameEx community will be appreciative as well!
  5. I think/hope that is what he is suggesting. As for works that are available through the limited access or nominal subscription / restriction free from EmuMovies (a partner site to GameEx), I do not think he is suggesting he will provide that content to anyone.
  6. Hopefully they will be "biting the pillow" real soon. As for karma, it does come around. Sometimes it isn't right away, but it does come around.
  7. Ouch. Really, that's what I said. But I must say, my boo-boo netted me a 12 pack, so nyar!
  8. Welcome aboard! Now get to work and release us some themes! Your fans await!
  9. Enable/Disable features in Setup Wizard is where you would find that option if available. If not there, then a feature request in the Pinned forum.
  10. You could break their fingers... "Sorry you can't hit the fire button, with your gimp index finger and all that..." One option you may want to consider is using the Users plugin. I don't have all the details regarding (at work at present) but you can setup several user profiles, complete with their own GameEx logon ID and password, individualized theme, etc. Whatever they do under that "guest" account should not have an impact on your Favorites settings. If someone can confirm that for me that would be great!
  11. Me too... that was my weeks allowance when I was 15.
  12. Only if it was properly configured with the contact info and registration post-purchase and the thief attempts to connect to the web. Hopefully that is the case. They can then identify where they are (approximately) and shut down access to the PC.
  13. You could send him a PM?
  14. LOJACK!
  15. Article on ARSTechnica about the "The surprising, stealth rebirth of the American arcade." I think they kinda missed the mark a little. When I see the economy as it is within the U.S., it is very reminiscent of the uncertainty regarding the state of the economy and politics during the early 80's. I love the idea of the classics having a rebirth.
  16. TG -sorry you are having an issue. Can you reattach your log.txt file and also provide a copy of your gameex.ini file? Thanks!
  17. Hey thumansevolution - just a quick follow-up with you to see how things are working out with the .mp4 video tests.
  18. I heart the simplicity - will be nice to see more. Also, ditto the question regarding Confluence: GEX. I really think that one was heading in some good directions as well!
  19. Another one of my themes reprezents!
  20. Damn it, dude! Sorry to hear that! Have you had any friends or acquaintances that seemed to take unusual notice of your surroundings? Hopefully it won't sideline you for too long and you are able to recover some of your stuff.
  21. The first movie is dated by today's standards, but for the time was a pretty cool thing. I like the feel of Legacy much better, though. More edgy, fatal.
  22. The theme is coming along although I have to admit to having taken a little bit of a break from it so I can focus on the logo pack a little more. Here is the system stats screen I came up with. I thought the PCB graphic was fitting.
  23. Adultery, your existence is much lacking - I think it is time to return the decoder ring.
  24. Interact no longer exists (they were bought out) and Windows Vista and Seven will not necessarily recognize older, "legacy" devices. Keep in mind that that particular wheel and pedal were made to be compatible with Windows 95 - XP, so unless someone has a neat trick on how to make Vista or later recognize, it ain't gonna happen.
  25. You had geek cred?
