  1. I would probably make something similar, but a little less blocky on the rounded corners. That was one of my first themes so lots of room for improvement.
  2. I am at the 70% mark as I haven't had much time to work on the pack as of late. Since I will be including the .xcf (GIMP) and .psd (Photoshop) files, you will be able to change or add to the backgrounds to suit your needs. I am presently working on a theme with neon effects. Here is a preview of some of the recent changes.
  3. The correct command line for Kega Fusion for the SMS is Fusion.exe -sms -fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" The correct command line for Genesis is Fusion.exe -gen -fullscreen "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]" You will need to make sure that is what shows for your command line in the Advanced Emulator Settings via the Setup Wizard. You will have to setup Fusion several times, once each for each system you are emulating. You will also need to make sure that you have the paths to the ROMs for each set correct as well. I would recommend keeping them in separate folders as this will make it easier to update/manage your collection. You need to ensure that you have it working correctly outside of GameEx first.
  4. Brokeh theme selector bar! Nyar! Of course, you don't have to have up and down arrows. I have all but eliminated them from most of my themes.
  5. <Must behave, must not derail the thread with what I am thinking, and it is naughty...>
  6. Hi djour - sorry you are still having this issue. Would you mind submitting updated log.txt and gameex.ini files since the last update? In the mean time, I will elevate this to Tom's attention. Thanks!
  7. Split from original [RESOLVED] target here.
  8. Have you loaded any exceptions to whatever firewall software you may have installed on the machine?
  9. Understood! I hope you come back to it as I think you've got a good thing going. I know all to well that a break is needed sometimes. If you think you might, maybe change the title to ON HIATUS?
  10. Just don't burn out, Ray! You are a machine, but machines need a break once in a while.
  11. I don't see any warning points...
  12. Good to see ya about! Send some pictures our way on the finished product!
  13. "I'm a cybernetic organism. Living tissue over a metal endoskeleton"
  14. Sorry to hear that, Krak. From what I have seen thus far, this was shaping up to be better than your Retro HD theme IMO.
  15. Have you tried deleting the cache files yet? Not sure but it may be possible that the cached file for MAME has been corrupted. It is safe to delete all files with cache in the file name or extension as they will rebuild after you delete and relaunch GameEx.
  16. Yeah - I found that one shortly after you posted the last. Here is my updated version of it. It could still use some cleaning.... http://img267.imageshack.us/img267/5156/visualpinmamealt.png And here it is in use on one of my logos
  17. Holy Sweetness! Great work, and what Tempest said.. yeah!
  18. I am on the hunt for a good Visual PinMAME logo. Most of what I have come across are very low res, so something large will be most appreciated!
  19. 8trek - You need to start giving us more to work with and, if I might say, work on your responses a little when someone is attempting to assist you. Good etiquette goes a long way towards others wanting to assist you. You must keep in mind that GameEx is a frontend - not an emulator. There is a limit as to what you may be able to input or edit in the gameex.ini file as its purpose is to prvide the initialization settings required for the front end proper. You may need to provide us with a copy of your emulator's config file. This is not one of those things that is going to be simple and is going to take some work on your part to learn the emulator you are attempting to setup and ensure that it is working outside of GameEx first. If so, then you need to let us know that up front.
  20. Modding an existing theme is a great way to experiment and get your legs under you! I know you had some difficulties to start with, but, as you begin to learn how to work with the Theme Editor and, most importantly, image tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator (or the freeware equivalents GIMP and Inkscape), you will become more comfortable and begin creating some original work of your own in no time!

  22. Here is a Future Pinball logo I have had for a while.
  23. Kinda the nasty granddaddy of this.
  24. Agreed regarding the smaller hosts and hot-linking. I was thinking of larger sources such as Wikipedia. Point well made!
  25. As for credit, KRC came up with the idea - I just provided the nudge!
